Very nice pics and w/u. Did you notice any potential weak spots in GM's design?
TIA

Damned impressive numbers! My Procharged 427 C5R/LS7 only made 773 at 8 psi, but the torque curve was lame by comparison. The car must be a hoot to drive.

But I thought the Z was made for the road racing? Why make all this power? It can't be for roll racing or drag racing!

Seriously, great job guys! This Z will be a beast!

Congrat's Ron on some awesome results...love the sound of that new CAM!!!!

Several questions for you....

1) Since you have the whole front end of the car off, can you please take some pics to show us the tortured path of the air intake system in front of the air box? There doesn't appear to be a natural cold ram air opportunity from the front of the car.

2) Is there more opportunity with the Throttle Body size and Throttle Body snout? I notice that the LS9 finds ways to gain significant power with a 108MM TB and machining of the TB snout...is this possible with the LT4?

3) Will you be testing the Halltech air intake system?

Aside from the 1.7L supercharger potentially limiting power? So far, no... We have spent the last 15 months or so really pushing the LT1 to find its limitations and so far the new LT4 is stronger in every aspect. We are quite pleased.

We are hoping to make the trip to SGMP in the next two weeks to get 1/4 mile times. We just got back from a WannaGOFAST 1/2 mile event and trapped 162.5 Vs a stock Z06 that trapped 148mph....

PM me your email address sir and I will be more than happy to put together an itemized quote for your review. We hope to finalize a few Performance Packages in the next week or two.

We use Alky Control exclusively. The service/support Julio offers is second to none and his product has not given us one single issue.

I believe we will be hanging on to this one for a while

1) I will try and snap some pics next time the passenger side fender is removed. This is where the cold air mounts and has the path for airflow.

2) I certainly believe there is power on the table with a larger TB and we hope to confirm this very soon. We are working with a TB manufacturer to develop a larger LT4 unit for testing as I type this.

3) Yes, early next week as a matter of fact.

I am confident we can go bottom 10s/high 9s on the 15" conversion... The car pulls insanely well for what it is.

We should be back on the dyno tomorrow with our lower pulley as well as testing the Halltech Vs the AFE. Will update #s as soon as we are finished guys.
