Default ZO6 tire gone flat

Got 1300 miles on it so far and picked up a screw or nail today. These tires are seriously sticky. Called my guy at discount tire and there are no rear tires for the Z to be found anywhere. The hole is in the middle of the tread and pretty much round. Anyone ever put a plug or patched one of these before? I read somewhere that youre not supposed to patch runflats but my Z is down and out until I can find a replacement tire. Anyone know where I can find a rear tire?
2105 Zo6 non Z07
Thanks
Evan Q.

No plug but you patch from inside I've done this a few times on my Z06 2012 and 2009.

Thanks Doug, Thats what I thought. Now I gotta see if DT will patch it for me. I have a feeling that they are not to hip about patching tires, they always try to sell you a new one instead.

Yea you better get a patch. There are no tires available yet. My dealership has been waiting on a set for one of there customers for 2 months now. He did to many burnouts and donuts and wore them flat. His car has been sitting since.

I had to use one last year. The patch plug is the real deal. It’s the absolute best you can do for your situation. I had to buy the whole box at Oreilles auto parts because they wouldn’t sell me a single and none of the tire stores I visited had any. The box was $22.

An example of what they look like is in the link below. Good technology.

Thanks for the info guys, I ordered several from Black jack. I can use the extras to patch up my flat hunting truck tires.
