Default So Cal dealers like to gamble

The market in Southern California is tight on supply for Z06's

Most dealers are asking 10-20,000 over

I bought my stingray in 2014 before the price increase and now in 2015 bought my Z06 before the bump at MSRP

I had to look hard to find a coupe of dealers that were honest and many that were not

rydell chevy northridge msrp
quality chevy escondido msrp

I think its Funny to see the Big Markup dealers still sitting on the poorly equipped Z06's with huge mark up's 60 days later knowing that they are paying chevy 1500.00 to 1700.00 a month flooring for unsold units

look for your best deals at month end

Actually, I spoke with Rydell Two days ago. They are at 2500 OVER MSRP.

AND......won't budge. Get it in writing......then you can believe it. Besides, there allocation situation is a joke.

Rydell had 4 Z06's last week,

2500 over is a far cry from 20,000 over

if you buy back east, your going to pay 2000.00 + to truck it west

courtesy delivery is 500-750 and a 8 week wait

Ha. They wanted an even $1000 for PDI. Which is rediculous. What they "will do" is tell you they have allocations, let me take your deposit, and then you wait. Finally i just had them refund my deposit. What you saw was floor stock. On a purchase such as this I needed the exact options chosen....not a floor model.

Trying to sell over MSRP tells me everything I need to know about a dealership. They'll never get a nickel of my money.

Its tuff to find a souther california dealer that will even do a courtesy delivery, when I was getting my 14 I was going to do an out of state purchase and no one in southern california would accept a courtesy delivery at the time

Its very tough. I have a long time relationship with a local socal dealer and i still had to pay 600 bucks for a courtesy delivery and it was very political before i got the okay to have it done. It was like pulling teeth.

I had no problem getting Jimmy Johnson Chevrolet to handle my courtesy delivery. They were not concerned that I bought my car from Kerbeck. They are charging me $500. If anyone is interested contact Michele Miranda who handles their courtesy deliveries. Tell her Dave sent you.

If i was in SoCal and wanted a car, I'd hop on Southwest to SJC (San Jose), there are plenty of cars, at or below MSRP on the chevy lots up here. Today I found a Z06 with Z07 sitting on the lot at MSRP (See https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...aler-msrp.html). Worth the $99 airline ticket if you want something today.

Well my A8 Z06 is on ice in the BG parking lot waiting the epa vs GM ggt fight.

No Cali dealer has an A8 Z allocation that can get you a 15 before June or July. Boardwalk can only get you a 16 and they have huge waiting list.

So no a flight to San Jose won't help with an A8 Z.

OHHhh REAARRY? Nope the M7's have the stealerships going home at night snickering........too

And they are probably outright laughing about the "allocation list"

Stealerships will rape every last dollar you have, if you allow it.

Agreed. Even at MSRP the dealer pockets a lot of money. The truly dishonest dealers will then get you for paint protection and rust protection. Buyer beware.
