Default Dealer got allocation...how long to 2000

My dealer told me they got my allocation on Thursday. Any idea when I will move off of 1100 and does my dealer need to take any action to accept said allocation? Thanks.

If they have an allocation, and you order a car that fits that allocation that they submit it against, it will be 2000 immediately.

For example, the first allocations were available 9/18. I got a call on 9/19, went in in placed my order. I immediately had an order workbench print out with my order number and event description at 2000

Thanks. I'm worried then. I guess the allocation came in minus the CFZ. I'm okay with that since there are already aftermarket kits that look just as good. I checked today and still at 1100? Not sure my dealer knows what's going on. This is their only allocation so I'm afraid we may have missed the boat.

If your order contains CFZ, it will only match an allocation with that option. Check the constraints list (posted in another thread), you might have more than one. Did you order A8 too?

As for 1100, I feel your pain, I've been there now for three weeks. But have patience, eventually they will want to build our cars (I hope).

I assume you are talking about a Z06, right? I didn't think there have been any allocations for Z06s since 1/29-2/3.

OP, how are you checking the status? My order went in also this past Thursday and GM chat told me my order is under review by GM and that is should go to level 2000 soon as long as there are no constraint issues with my order.

I'm also checking with GM chat however, my dealer told me today I'm still at 1100. I've been there since Nov. :-(

I just figured that once they got their allocation my status would move. I have several constraints...dual roof, CFZ, painted roof and A8.

I guess only time will tell. Fingers are still crossed. ;-)

We are in identical situations except I have no constraints. I have been at 1100 for a while also. I think we should move to 2000 in a few days or so.

Chevy chat is the easiest way to check your order event code status.

As for when you car will move to 2000, it all depends on your specific dealers allocation (and of course if there are constraints - the allocation must have the also). Only your dealer can tell you what they usually get and if they have used them up already. Good luck. I've been waiting for weeks to get to the same place. But it's worth it to get the car exactly the way you want it. The whole process is

Ordered on 1/21 - status 2000 by 1/22 and 3000 by 1/23. My TPW was 3/2 then 3/16 then 3/23 and now back to 3/16. But it did move to 3000 really quickly. Here are the specs

3LZ, GKZ, 196, MEK, AE4, C2M, CFZ, FAY, Q6U

(Was worried about FAY, C2M and CFZ, but seems it was all good)

I was told the same by my dealer. I ordered first week of Dec and just got notification that they received the allocation in last Thursdays consensus. Please post if you hear anything. I also ordered CFZ but M7 and single top

I do not believe there was a consensus last week for any Z06's. Did you check the status of your order?

btw JetStream...love your ride I had an 08 Z06 just like it until some moron pulled an illeagle U turn and smashed into my passenger side and totaled it. Great car, hope the new one makes me as happy as the C6 version did. Hope you enjoy yours.

I am in the same boat. I have been at 1100 since September and I am next on the list for an allocation. I hope it comes up soon and I can order what I want.
I love the C6Z. It puts a smile on my face every time I take it out. I expect the C7Z to do the same. I don't need the new one until April when the weather gets better around here, but I want to know that I can get what I want and GM accepts the order.

Dealer just contacted me and said he will have the allocation tomorrow and will submit order. At that time he will find out if my order hits any of the constraints and we would have to adjust from there. I assume if it gets accepted my status will then change. I'm not willing to change much on the order so I guess I'll just wait and see what he can do.

I was told mine will be allocated tomorrow as well. They seem to think the CFZ is an issue but I guess we'll know tomorrow morning. Wish me luck! ;-)

well got the dreaded CFZ constraint. I have to got to Z07 if I want the CFZ option...This bait and switch crap by GM is just wrong. My dealer is willing to knock quite a bit off the MSRP if I'll take it. Anyone know if the suspension rides that much stiffer or if the tires are that much worse for street use? I will not track the car so I want daily drivability.

Many companies are offering aftermarket spoilers and side skirts at much less than what GM is charging. Get a stage 1 and save some money.
