Default 2016 z06

Has anyone heard or read of major changes to the 2016 Z06? Recently read that only a Z07 will be available beginning in 2016

I doubt that seriously. There already has been/is a supply limitation on carbon fiber aero and carbon ceramic rotors. Who comes up with this stuff?

Any changes will probably be released at the Bash in April!

The 2016 is going to make the 2015 obsolete.

Lol, there won't be one change I assure you...2017 may see a change or two after a year in customers hands and GM gets a lot of feedback both positive and negative.

Never, that would serious limit GM's sales!

There better be a change. Can't even track this thing in the winter without temps rising. Summer should be real interesting. Not to mention getting waxed by so many other cars. I'm sure GM was blindsided when the Nismo flat out bitch slapped the Z06 in all test but the figure 8.

Price increase is probably the only change.

Start/stop technology will be on all 2016 C7's. Will give the StingRay 30 MPG highway, eliminate the A8 Z06's gas guzzler tax, will automatically be on once you start the motor (to allow it to be included in improved EPA mileage calcs), but thankfully be able to be turned off with a single switch or click for those who choose not to use it.

147 miles on my A8; averaging a little over 11 miles per gallon.

Trolls like him stick to simple-minded threads. Where big and confusing phrases like "flash the convertor" and other lingo that those of us who regularly race and track our cars understand. But I'm sure he can pick out the right smilie without having to click the "more" link.
Look at it this way, every village needs an idiot to maintain parity (oops...there are those big words again).

I agree, Changes will only be made in so far not making them would reduce sales and profits to the point where it is break even with the cost of the change. With cars in the hands of customers for less then 6 months it is not very likely that changes would make a lot of sense, unless something simple as a slightly different tune and maybe additional cooling. Remember however how long it took to upgrade the A8 transmission cooling!
