Default Alignment

Anyone know how the factory setting is for alignment? Is it set for track or street?

Its set for street. When I took mine in to have it set for track my right rear wheel was off a good bit from the factory. Would be worth having checked when you rotated tires.

The manual references changing the alignment for track use, so I assume factory alignment is for street. I've got almost 2000 miles on mine but have not looked closely at the tire wear. I learned too late on my C6Z that factory alignment was more track oriented - excessive wear on the inside edge of each front tire. Changing to a neutral alignment improved street use tire wear greatly.

Read the Competitive Driving section of your owner's manual. It has information on the proper setup of the car for doing track driving. Including alignment (which is pretty aggressive) and fluid checks. Don't forget when alignment is being done the C7 has adjustments for REAR Caster which is something previous Corvettes didn't have.

I had difficulty finding the street settings - funny that the manual provides the track settings only AFIK. I did find this on the other vette forum I recall, and it looks to be legit.

I had mine checked and while slightly off nominal, it was still in tolerance - they did not recommend adjusting unless I noticed uneven tire wear or the car pulling (not yet but only 1700 miles).
They pulled up the 2013 Z06 settings from their software and these 2015 values were slightly different.

Yeah, definitely get it aligned after you've given the car some time to settle. My Z51 has 0 degrees of camber on the left front and shredded the tire on track as a result.
