Just wanted to double check with others to see if I pulled the correct fuse (#42 in fuse box in engine compartment) thanks in advance!

If Track exhaust mode keeps them open at all times, what is the reason to pull the fuse?

We're talking Z06 - right? Why not just turn it off through the Sound Management setting on the Infotainment screen?

No need to pull fuses!

1. Home button;
2. Touch settings;
3. Touch Driving mode;
4. Touch engine sound mgt;
5. Vertical bar down to "track";
6. Touch Track for loudest mode.

Your Welcome!

Sup Gene.

Yanked it, no difference than track. So I did this: https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...me-instal.html which got me close but not quite there, so X pipe next week for punctuation.

I wonder if keeping the headlight from going out is as easy as pulling a fuse and yes i hope somone figures this out too.

What do you mean??

Btw on my C6Z I ran a fuse switch to all the exterior lights other than the headlights. Talk about a true stealth mode.

Thank god they never caught up.

Very nice. Well done. I'd like to keep the NPP. I'll probably go Xpipe at some point and then call it a day....until I hit 100k miles next year.

I have mine set to track all the time as well, but I find that it still codes, goes quiet, sometimes. Not sure if there is an actual problem there or not. My seat memory does this as well, sometimes it won't go up. It still goes to exit, I'm fat, so it's an intermittent issue. I never had any problems with my GS, so it may just be new model ticks.

Interested to hear about the xpipes sound difference. Its the off-road version I assume right? Will it void the warrante by any chance?

Yup they call it 'off road' because it removes the secondary cats. I'll post updates and sound clips on the thread for comparison when I get it installed towards the end of next week. I probably wouldn't add the X pipe if the Vette was my DD ... since it's not I really want the exhaust tone and volume to match the monster engine when I do take her on the road or the track.

I've never heard of a cat-back exhaust voiding any element of a warranty if properly installed.

That's the AFM valves closing. You have the exhaust flapper valves that you can control through the software AND AFM valves which you cannot.

If Thomas has an M7, so far as I understand it the only time AFM is active is in Eco mode. It's just the nature of the LT4 to purr quietly in neutral once warmed up.
