Who has taken delivery of their a8 zo6 in California already?? If you have then what day did it get to California(at the rail yard in California or delivery)?

So it seems 3/2/2015 was the first day the A8's came into California. There were 8 at the rail yard in Milpitas (not sure how many were automatics though). But it seems that 3/4/15 was the first day the dealers would let you take the car home.

Considering mine sat after being built at the BGAP for 3 weeks; then transported to the Toledo rail yard where is sat another 2 weeks; and left there on the train for the Milpitas rail yard last Saturday and has been making excellent time.
Rail transport has been outstanding.

This AM 5:30 Elko, NV....due in Milpitas in just 6 days! Friday.

So six days end-to-end from Toledo to Milpitas, right? I finally turned on OnStar and, despite prior assurances, I can see that I just entered Indiana. So + 6 days is Wed, 3/11. That would work for me.

Please keep me/us posted on the Milpitas-->Dealer-->PDI-->keys in you hands timing.

I am in Reno, NV, but my car was delivered to train distribution center in Milpitas, CA on March 2, Car arrived at dealer in Reno late afternoon of March 4. I picked it up at the dealer at 10:30 am on March 5.
