Holy cow. I placed my order in October and had the car before Christmas. Are you ordering an A8? Are there constraints that keep causing you to get passed over?

I think both vettec4c5c6 and my problem is going with a small volume dealer that doesn't get many allocations. My dealer is only getting three Z06's and I am number 3. I am next on the list, so I am hoping he gets his last allocation on the next consensus. I want a fully loaded AW, A8, Z07, but we will see what GM will let me order.

Which to me, the way I understand it is that the dealer is fudging your new car price and selling it to you at a higher price in order to make up the paper number they gave you on the trade in.

MSRP just like most dealers. He is looking at the total dollars he will make from me and not what he can sell my trade for like other dealers. Most dealers want to make the most on the trade and the new car. I can't see that when you are paying MSRP.

My dealer called me today and said they received 3 allocations. My issue is if I order next Thursday I am looking at a production week mid April. He informed me I could order a 16 mid May for production late June. So, decision is do I order 16 and give up my price protection and also take the increase of the 16? He said they are producing the last 15's and the next week start producing the 16's so he believes there won't be hardly any changes. Maybe just in packages. He seems to know whT he is talking about but you never know.
