I feel your pain. Placed my deposit September 13, 2014. Still sitting at 1100.

Sorry to see this, why don't you go with one of the high volume dealers, you would have yours by now?

Nobody could match the trade-in price my local dealer is giving me.

Holy cow. I placed my order in October and had the car before Christmas. Are you ordering an A8? Are there constraints that keep causing you to get passed over?

I think both vettec4c5c6 and my problem is going with a small volume dealer that doesn't get many allocations. My dealer is only getting three Z06's and I am number 3. I am next on the list, so I am hoping he gets his last allocation on the next consensus. I want a fully loaded AW, A8, Z07, but we will see what GM will let me order.

It should be if they go every two weeks like they used to for the Z06.

That is why I am hoping my order goes in soon. By time it gets delivered, the temperature will be up and hopefully the snow will be gone in CT.

Which to me, the way I understand it is that the dealer is fudging your new car price and selling it to you at a higher price in order to make up the paper number they gave you on the trade in.

MSRP just like most dealers. He is looking at the total dollars he will make from me and not what he can sell my trade for like other dealers. Most dealers want to make the most on the trade and the new car. I can't see that when you are paying MSRP.

I was told by a dealer in Houston that they got 4 Z06 allocations this week. Mine was #1 on the list.

My dealer called me today and said they received 3 allocations. My issue is if I order next Thursday I am looking at a production week mid April. He informed me I could order a 16 mid May for production late June. So, decision is do I order 16 and give up my price protection and also take the increase of the 16? He said they are producing the last 15's and the next week start producing the 16's so he believes there won't be hardly any changes. Maybe just in packages. He seems to know whT he is talking about but you never know.

Would be very surprised if they are producing the last 15's and switching to 16's until June or July.

looks like i do have the same problems as you. the dealer has only three z06 allocations, and i want an A8. i was #1 on the list, but when his first allocation came, only M7's were being built. I am paying MSRP. i have bought my c5 and c6 verts from him--all with integrity. and he found me the 2010 zr1 at msrp i wanted from another dealer. so i trust him. i, like one other respondent, wonder if it is worth waiting for the 2016's for a more refined product.
