You probably don't need to contact an attorney yet. Ask your dealer to have a GM regional rep come and look at your car. No reason why they wouldn't fix it for for you.
Did you inspect the car when you took possession?

[QUOTE=deejw;1589117359]A little back story. I finally picked up my car Feb. 20 via Courtesy delivery from MacMulkin Chevrolet. I picked up the car from Delillo and immediately took it to my detailer to get clear bra, tint and some other things done to it. I received a call and they informed me that I had 2 scratches on my car. One on the passenger rear fender and one on the front between the splitter and bumper. They found my driver side headlight was popping out and not aligned. Also they found clear coat that was painted over what looks like dust particles on my driver side door. Here some pictures.
Don’t shoot the messenger. But it’s obvious this didn’t happen at Bowling Green. So no need to blame GM at this point.
There has been an attempt by someone to repair minor damage done to the front of the car. They ordered or altered a part. The whole cut out not being precision cut to the exact perforated cut out is your clue. Not my place to speculate here. But I would ask the dealer and the clear bra folks to come clean. If neither does, ask your GM rep to look into where this particular part came from, when it was ordered and where it was shipped, then who it was billed out to. It looks like an OEM replacement part that was installed after the car left the production line. If so it will become apparent because the parts sent to the production line normally have different sequence numbers than those provided to dealers and body shops. Also ask him if the headlight is original? Let the chips fall where they may.

sorry to hear about your troubles, what are all those white stains in the last but one pic, also they are numbered 3,4,6, this looks like some one damaged it and tried to fix it.After reading so many horrific experiences on the forum I'm very nervous about my delivery.
I ordered mine from Hendrick Chevrolet (Duluth GA), they said vehicle will be delivered to San Diego-92111 ( thats 500 miles away from me).All SF bay area dealers were asking huge markup for custom built orders. Hendrick Chevorlet agreed for MSRP and I placed a deposit. They said the closest dealer they can deliver it to is SanDiego (direct from GM), now I'm really worried in what state it would arrive. After reading some horrific experiences here I have decided to fly to SanDiego and inspect the vehicle and will not take delivery if i notice anything.
Bad QC from GM/Dealership handling is definitely keeping me worried.

Your paint should not be sanded on when vehicle is completely built. It should only be sanded on in the paint shop at the plant where it is on some type of pallet. . It looks like some type of repair after the car was assembled or left the plant.

Those are signs that some body work or paint work has been done on the car. Likely a dealership porter bumped the nose into something, and they took it apart and repainted/fixed it. Pretty shady.
I'd demand the dealership buy it back, or explode their name on social media. Jalopnik loves stories like this.

What a frickin' nightmare. I agree that someone obviously tried to repair damage to the car after it left the factory and did a ****-poor job of it. The receiving dealership is the prime suspect and I'd be in there right now with the pictures. Somebody needs to pay for this and it won't be you. Make lots of noise and it will be rectified. Unfortunately that won't make it any less unpleasant. Ruins the experience completely.

If this doesn't get resolved by Obamamotors, I would immediately call my attorney and so should you. Whoever did this obviously does not take pride in the work that they produce and therefore should not be on your driveway!

If they can fix it to your satisfaction then that is the best solution in my opinion. If they can't or won't then that is a different story. Maybe they will take the car back and you order another one. But as disappointing as it is to have this happen, it does at times and hopefully the dealer takes ownership of the situation and gets it fixed .
If it is superficial then anything can be repaired properly.
