Default New High Gloss CF Steering Wheel & Interior

WCC just installed 80% of the new Auto Dynamics West High Gloss Carbon Fiber ZO6 interior. I liked the high gloss versus the OEM semi-gloss.

The steering wheel is also a custom one-off smooth leather and high gloss carbon fiber mix. I opted for the smooth leather due to the heavy use. I did not think the Alcantara leather would hold up to the daily touches???

Auto Dynamics West will be creating door pieces to complete the interior. Greg and his company does top-notch work and the quality is impeccable. WCC performed the installation. Chris and Brandon over at WCC are the BEST people to deal with. They care for the cars as if it were their own. No shortcuts or "janky" installations here. They may take a little longer and charge a little more, but quality and customer service is what I want! Greg did the interior on my C6 and I was SOLD, hook line & sinker! Enough ranting, here are some pics. Sorry for the crappy phone pics. Greg from Auto Dynamics West will shoot hi-res pics soon.

Thanks for the THUMBS UP!

Definitely not "under the radar". Pics don't do it any justice. When you step in to the car, the steering wheel gets noticed right off the bat, then everything else makes it presence known.

Don't get me wrong, the matte or semi-gloss CF is just as gorgeous, it is just a matter of preference.

I would say, NOT FOR EVERYONE, but for some this is the way to go. I compare this to real wood interior. Too much and then it gets borderline gaudy, but there is that "Just Right" sweet spot that is so hard to get to, but easy to pass. It's all subjective.

Where did the plate stating "made in Bowling Green Kentucky" come from? Did you replace the plate showing 650 HP?

I was one of the first round of Z's built. I believe GM changed the plate after mine was built. I did not have Museum Delivery.

That doesn't seem right? My car was #66 and has the standard 650HP plate. That looks like a NCM delivery plate?

Your interior looks great! I also have Greg's pieces as well, nice stuff! Ordering more....

Yeah, Greg is a good guy. He has a ton of patience. He deals with my gazillion emails and calls with kit gloves.

As for the plate, I must've gotten one by mistake? Bowling Green (Chris Sweeney) emailed me what name I would like on my personalized plate, I spelled it out for him and that was that.
The car was delivered to Kerbeck from BG and I had the Z transported via covered carrier to SoCal.

Can you show me the plates you guys have?

VIN 587

Come to think of it, I believe a personalized plaque was an option on the order sheet. My order sheet is in my office. I will double check next week when I get to my files.
