Shipping is stalled from BG
Just found out via Chat that there are no trucks going to plant to ship cars due to snow. I heard that Bowling Green got about 18". Hopefully next week they'll start to ship again.

2015 C7 of the Year Finalist
My Z built 1/29 and shipped out of BG on 2/19 to a rail yard in MI where it's still sitting. Very poor system this time. Back on September of 13 my C7 was built on 9/16 and was in my garage 9/28/13.

Be glad it is in BG and not stuck on I-65 north of BG in a line of traffic many miles long.

My A8 Z was built on 1/26, and it still sits in Spring Hill Tn. The overflow parking when Bowling Green filled up. I'm hoping it will get moving next week sometime when the weather is warmer.

I want to let all know that I am not posting this to try to bash Chevy or any thing like that. I only posted this because I know how most, if not all of us are like little kids waiting to open presents at Christmas waiting on the delivery of our new Z's. This was just posted to keep all informed of a delay due to the weather and to get this info out to those who might not be following the status of their builds on the GM Chat line. To be honest, I kind of glad that there was a delay shipping my car due to the severity of the winter here in the Northeast. Good Luck to all, I'm sure that the wait will be well worth it!

The I65 weather made national news for several nights in a row. They had a 30+ mile long traffic jam on I 65 N and several other jams as well. People were stuck in their vehicles for at least 18 hours and all of the abandoned vehicles (they ran out of gas) were slowing road clearance efforts.

Kinda hard to blame GM for one of the worst winters on record. Personally, I wouldn't want my car on a trailer out on the road in this mess. I don't even take it out of the garage with the current weather.
