Sure wish one of our vendors would produce a high quality set of engine caps that actually indicate what each is. IE the oil cap should say Oil. Coolant, Brake Fluid, Washer Fluid etc. Having them all the same with yet another corvette logo on each seems more than a bit OTT to me.
I had very nice machined aluminum with carbon fiber inlay anodized caps like this on previous cars but they were all Fords.
I have not found anything like this for the C7.

I have a few sets in the works that I really think your going to like. This sets will have a little carbon fiber into the mix. We haven't painted them yet, but you can get the idea in raw form.

Finally got mine on Friday nite just in time for the Operation American Muscle show in Austin yesterday. These crappy pics were taken out there after several hours of dust and grass blowing around.
I got the entire cover set (coil and tank) as well as the hood cowl from Pete and Team and super happy with them.
The coil covers definitely must be taped up before install since there is a lot of wrenching around to get them into place and a lot of things that can scratch them during that process. Then getting the tape back off is a bit tedious but it's a must do. Didn't break any tabs, just take your time and you wont either. Basically a very simple install and very intuitive. I felt like I needed a video (spoiled by youtube) but just read the threads on this and and look at things as you do it. It's very easy.
Also, it definitely dresses up the engine bay. I had numerous people taking pics of the engine bay area. ...and yes I know I need to clean the engine bay now. After I finish installing the Halltech that I'm painting, the engine bay is getting fully detailed.
Thanks Pete!!!
BTW, boxing up the take offs and they'll be on their way back next week.
Just a reflection, not a scratch in the big cover.
Pete painted the hood cowl, I painted the radiator shroud.
