Was surfing Cars and Autotrader and saw an ad for $8K off, so, I went to the above on the dealer's website. Good deal. Finally, some realistic pricing. Dealer would still make good money with holdback and a few additional thousand above the invoice even at that price. Window stick link below.
Post up if someone ends up with it!

MSRP $102,825
MEIER SALE PRICE $94,284
SAVINGS $8,541

This has been discussed .... likely an error in the GM system that is used to create these.
Not likely the price shown is correct.
Search forum for more information on this fact.

Dealers can sell at thousands off and still make thousands.
Someone can call Meier in the morning and post up if it's a "system error" or real.

There have not been deals way under MSRP. Almost all of these types of posts turn out to be an error. There have only been a couple people that have said they actually got any sort of discount and they were no where near $8,000

Take a look at the excellent C7 pricing spreadsheet MKenM posted up in this thread:
https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...rpo-codes.html
You can build a car and see the MSRP, the invoice, and the dealer's cost.
I built that exact car mentioned in this thread and came up with the exact same amount. And the spreadsheet also has the invoice and dealer cost. I don't know how accurate those are, but MKenM seems to have good algorithms for determining those prices, so if they aren't exact I bet they're very close. I came up with:
I believe the GM Employee Discount is down toward Dealer Cost. You can see that apparently a dealer is making several thousand on a vehicle of this price even selling at invoice, and I believe that's about what the GM Supplier/Military/Credit Union discounts are priced at.
In January I built a C7 Z06 on the GM Military Discount site. At the time it showed the Military Discount, which I believe is the same as GM Supplier and Credit Union discounts. In February they took the discount price off the site, and they raised the base MSRP by $1000. Here's an example from before the price increase:
Base MSRP $86,650.00
MSRP as Configured $107,455.00
GM Military Discount Price $97,192.80
Consumer Cash -$0.00
You Pay $97,192.80
I believe invoice on that car above was right about the Military Discount price, and dealer cost would be about $94,000.
I'm not sure, but I think when GM makes a vehicle officially eligible for discount pricing, the dealer may get some subsidy/rebate.
So.....I guess a dealer can sell a vehicle for whatever they want to sell it for, and even at invoice they're making several thousand $$$ on a nicely optioned C7 Z06/Z07 even at invoice. But, if GM doesn't officially have the vehicle on their discount eligible list, the dealer may not make quite as much as if the official discounts are in effect.
Bottom line.....a dealer can discount a C7 Z06 $8000 or $10000 and still make a profit.
When the discounts will become sanctioned by GM, hoonose!!

This fall/winter 2016 models will be available and I don't see many 2015's sitting on dealer lots waiting to be purchased. Im sure some discounts will come, but I don't think they will be as large as some on here think they will.

I have yet see someone post a real contract/invoice on a discounted car. a couple people claim they get a under MSRP deal with trade in of Stingray and it looks like they took a stabbing from the rear on the trade and the dealer gave them "a DEAL" on the Z06. the market right now is MSRP and the dealers knows it.

Some of us know VeryGood(tm) Dealers that will price the car at or near invoice when they can. Those dealers will continue to get our respective business.

Trading in the dealer can "show" discount that not is really there!

Got Boost?!
I can confirm that a good friend just bought a base Z at $76k. It isn't the end of the world, we all knew they would drop eventually.

Of course discounts will come, when? When the 16's hit the street any 15's still sitting around will be discounted, that's for sure. The dealers will still be trying to hold fast at msrp
For the new 16's. Real discounts will appear when cars are sitting looking for buyers.
Dealership don't do the giant sales numbers for no reason..
