Default Anyone interested in taking delivery of a loaded Laguna Blue A8 Z07, Seattle, MSRP?

i may not take delivery of the car i ordered since my financial situation changed for the worse.

it is a laguna blue, coupe, black interior, stage 3 z07, a8, cfv, j6d (grey calipers), 3LZ, IWE (suede trim and headliner etc.), FAY, AE4 (comp seats), 196 (suede on seats), n26 (sueded sterring wheel), spectra gray wheels, dual roof (carbon and transparent)

i am paying msrp, no doc fee, so sort of under msrp in a way, since most dealers charge a 200 to 600 dollar doc fee.

msrp is $111,330.00

this is the full info:

i will end up keeping it if no one wants it in the next day or two. im teetering on the fence, and i dont want it to sit there too long. They are nice and all at the dealership, but i dont feel comfortable with it out of my sight.

I assume you ordered this car ? How come the dealer is not on your back to move it out of there ? Will you forfeit a deposit if you don't take delivery ? If you can swing it you may as well take it since you have all summer to enjoy it.

Enjoy it if you can, but no car is worth feeling insecure financially. Best of luck!

the dealer probably does not want to wait long, but i dont think a couple days is a problem. i wont lose a deposit. Doesnt seem like i will find someone that wants it in the next day or two, so i will probably get it, and be very happy. I could go either way. Hence, "teetering".

I don't think you would regret it. You are getting a supercar at the best time of year. If you decide to take it your biggest problem will be getting the smile off your face.

Nice job getting a Seattle dealer to order you a car at MSRP. They all wanted to jack me.

I am not selling it. I never bought it, just ordered it. Someone would just buy it instead of me.

I ordered it from a big dealer with a gazillion allocations at msrp. The Seattle dealership is a courtesy delivery dealer. You cannot get a z06 at msrp in the Seattle area, like you said. They are at least 5k over, even if you can get one there. But Seattle dealers have little to no z06 allocations.

Wow, that Z is maxed out on options. If you can swing it, I think you will be very happy with it. The Z is an outstanding car from my perspective, and I can honestly say I have no regrets paying MSRP.

You can always find another one (Z07), with less options if that will make it more easier on the budget, but from a performance standpoint I believe they are well worth the money, and this was optioned exactly how you wanted it.

Good luck with your decision.

I am surprised you haven't paid for the car yet, usually the selling dealer wants this all taken care of before the car gets to courtesy dealer? How will the selling dealer get their car if you don't buy?

I would bet the courtesy dealer would be more than happy to buy it and then add a 25k markup, just like good chevrolet has done with their z06.

When I ordered my car from macmulkin with courtesy delivery to seattle, that deposit was non-refundable once the order hit 2000.

Good Luck.

Its a good point you make, since this is the way most people pay.

However, even with courtesy delivery from a big forum dealer, some have chosen to wait until the car arrives, which gives them peace of mind that leverage, is maintained until the car has been fully inspected or PDI'd.
