Sorry if this is a repost but it looks like Calloway has a 17k Z06 package.

Well they took the Stingray from 460hp to 627hp so I'm assuming a similar increase for the Z06, say 800hp. That's a nice round number

Quite disappointed in the hole in the hood with the exposed supercharged enclosure...quite tacky imo. Otherwise, attractive car overall I must say. With Callaway reportedly pursuing the GT3 variant of Corvette, I'd hope to see some track influenced ques versus this shaker hood, old muscle bs. I have to admit, I feel like Callaway products miss the mark when it comes to the design aspect....and this is coming from a guy who probably began liking Corvette SOLELY due to the Callaway brand. Hell, I golfed solely with Callaway products because it was in the family.

I knew you'd be in this thread with negativity. It seems to be your m.o.
Anyways, my offer remains for you to schedule a time to come to our facilities and allow us to introduce you to our brand and show you the Callaway difference. Please let me know your availability.

The gain from 460 HP to 624 HP on the LT1 was from forcing air into the engine on the Callaway buy sticking a supercharger on top of the engine. They went from 0 psi manifold pressure to 5-6 psi manifold pressure. That's where the additional 164 HP came from.
On the LT4, it already has 9-10 psi of positive manifold pressure from the 1.74L supercharger that GM suck on top of the engine, so where is that additional 150 HP(800-650=150)coming from that you guessed at? More manifold pressure because of the 2.3L supercharger?
They might increase the boost, but I doubt it will be very much. You can increase the boost on the GM LT4 engine without spending $17,000 and get additional horsepower. I don't see that the Callaway will have that much additional horsepower, but because of the superior cooling ability of the intercooler with Callaway's design vs GM's design, they won't lose as much horsepower when driven hard after 4 laps.
But, that's just a guess on my part too. Waiting for more details on the Callaway Z06.

In the meantime, we'll focus on the positive, as there is so much with our new supercharger and its virtues

Also, with our unrestricted manifold design, much better internal flow from the rotor pack to the cylinder heads. Simply put, things are not quenched to fit under the hood and limited by small passages. By going through the hood, we were able to implement the design we wanted, not what real estate dictated
