Too bad he probably can't afford one! Looks interested! Have not had that happen with Z yet, but here's a shot taken when I was shooting footage for a documentary on the V8 Tuscans. We had made a few runs under an overpass and evidently pissed off a bunch of bicyclists who evidently couldn't stand the smell of gasoline. They called the cops and 2 showed up with a paddy wagon! They were totally cool and agreed the spandex crowd were a bunch of weenies.

One of the two $130,000 Z06s at my local dealership was purchased by a cop.
My neighbor just retired from the CHP. His pension is more than $200,000 a year. He is 50 and just accepted a job at another State agency.
A CHP patrol officer working the equivalent number of hours of an average IT executive (they call it "over time" when you are a government employee) can earn $200k a year. Climb through the ranks and the numbers go up.
No judgment in this post. Just facts.

yeah cops & fireman "double dipping" pensions is a huge problem
and will eventually bankrupt many pension programs !
the city of Hollywood Florida police pension fund is less
than 50% funded.
the current chief of Ft. Lauderdale is a great example,
he retired in 2008 with a lump sum of $375k and monthly
payments of $6511.00 the Very next day he was re-hired
as police chief earning an additional $6,254 every two weeks
(or $162,600/year)
So, looking at what he has received from taxpayers cumulatively
since this whole thing began in 2008 (in 6 years): $379,466 in a
one-time (DROP) payment, $468,792 in monthly retirement pay and
an additional $975,600 in salary. (Again, this is over a six year period.)
Total amount so far that has been handed over to him in six years: $1,823,858!!!
That’s almost 2 million dollars, and growing by almost a quarter of a million dollars
every year he remains.
And this doesn’t include the free car, free health care and dental care, and vacation time, etc. etc.

Like Law Dog I was a cop for 30 years. I have always been a gear-head and have given tons of breaks to my fellow enthusiasts when I could have cited them. Sometimes a warning is better than a ticket
I love my Z and I like to hammer it. I am retired, LOL

the life
Very good friend of mine patrols the beach on an ATV all day in da bu. Hot chics everywhere.
Course he had too do two years at the county jail first. Regular patrol cop in the city? Thats a tough job, and they deserve every penny...
