I was coming out of a store and there was a mom and two small boys standing by my car. The mom asked me if the boys could ask me a question. The one asks me "are you batman"? So cute I had to let them sit in the car. NRB stage 3 with carbon flash stripes. Spectra gray wheels with dark gray calipers.

Safety Car
I think its a Ferrari everytime I see one in the distance. Especially from the front. The daytime LED's, new taillight design and futuristic styling make the C7 (both Stingray & Z06) look very, very exotic.

Not many Car Folks out there anymore.
I've had one of the first Z's in SoCal and below are some of stupidest comments I've had people tell me:
1. Is that the new GT-R. WTF? Young couple driving a Scion FRS.
2. I didn't know Camaro's was a 2-seater??? 18 year old who claims his Dad is a long time Camaro fan? He asked me to take a pic of him next to the car after I told him it was the new Vette. I did not even want to get in to the ZO6 discussion with him. I snapped the pic on his phone and off he was. He was driving a brand spanking new Honda Civic.
3. Your new Viper looks really nice! Not too far off the beaten path, but still, I was like "head slap"! Older gentleman who owns my local gas station. He used to love my C6. He drives a really, really nice '15 Silverado High Country 2500. Dang that truck is nice!
4. I've never seen a Ferrari in person before! AND you still haven't! Brunette Bombshell at a Starbuck's. I let her know it was not a Ferrari. She drove a Benzo SLK-350.
5. Look Mom it's the Bat Mobile, but why is it orange. Young kid, maybe 6 or 7 years old crossing the street with his mother. He stopped right in front of the car and tried in vain to stop his mom. She had to pick him up and drag him off the street. I waived to him. I tell this story all the time. I was smiling all the way home!
Gassing up brings out all the lookey-loos. They are all very courteous and ask a ton of questions. What normally takes 5 minutes at the gas station now takes twice as long. That's OK. I like to oblige those who admire the car...even if they do not know what it is!
Great car!

One guy asked me, "Does that have a 6 or 8 in it?"
I've had several younger kids grab a parent's phone to take pictures of the car, so I let them set in it. Makes their day and leaves me with a smile.

The profile of the new Z and the Ferrari F12 (and to some degree the Ferrari 599), are similar.

From the side the C7 looks just like the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta.
