Default Head Room ???

How is the head room in the new Z ?? I'm 6'2" tall, and always had problems with certain Corvettes. Not to mention helmets.

I'm 6' with longer legs and there is just enough room for a helmet with a proper seating position. Any taller and you should probably sit in a stingray to check. If you do so, though, make sure you adjust the seat instead of judging it based on where it happens to be positioned when you get in.

6.1, 180, I like sunset walks on the beach, puppies, and talking about feels and how best to rearrange furniture ... plenty of room in the C7Z for me, my helmet, and most of my ego.

I am 6'2".....when I get in the car I always have to be careful to not whack my left knee on the dash pad. When I settled in the seat, I need to have the seat all the way down and back. At that my left shin is almost parallel with the slope of the dash pad and there is maybe a 1/2" clearance between my knee and shin. Yes it's close. Not uncomfortably, but I do know it is close.

I have not had a helmet on in the car yet (need to buy one), but I get about two fingers clearance.....so yes, things would be tight. I am a big guy weight wise too, 300, so everything in the car feels tight to me as compared to my C5 Z06 ( that I just sold to my brother in law). The C5 feels like it has much more room in it.....but I do love the interior of the C7......good luck.....

At 6'3" I do not fit when wearing a helmet with the painted roof. I recently drove a Stingray with the transparent roof while wearing a helmet and that fit.

lol...I am 6'3" and fit with my helmet, but do nudge the seat down a bit and angle it backwards. Still, my helmet rubs something and squeaks and you can hear it on PDR videos.

The transparent roof definitely gives another inch or two of headroom.

That's interesting, because on other GM cars, you loose 2" of head room with a sunroof. Even the Suburban's & Yukon's; I always buy them without a sunroof just for the 2".

Yes because the sunroof drops down and slides back, necessitating a drop in the headliner. With the transparent roof panel there is no headliner or center framing. It is just a clear panel with a perimeter frame so you gain that headroom.

I'm 6'2" tall and I have no issues. Haven't tried wearing a helmet yet.
