It looks to be driven by Chevrolet due to the apparent manufacturer plate. Going for another hot lap GM?

No tech crew, no trailers, guy just drives the car off the street onto the Ring? On the track with other public drivers....and watch his lines....way off and jerky.
No way this is GM's official attempt. Going to be waiting some more....

Defiantly a "Stage 1" car. Low Wickerbills and plastic / rounded front Splitter are dead giveaways. Maybe they (whoever they are) wanted more straight line speed than down force in the corners.

GM has a facility in town...not far from the entrance...they've had it a couple years now, I've seen pics of it. They do drive with other drivers of course, because the Nurburgring is opened. They gather data, test calibrations, etc. Every moment they are on the ring isn't a hot lap attempt...in fact, rarely when they are on there is it a hot lap attempt.

Appears from the front splitter with Stage 3 end caps and side rails and stage 3 spoiler this is in fact a Z07.

You should come to TN. I have lived here all my life so I never realized how well our roads are kept until I started traveling. Hats off to TDOT, they really do an amazing job. I traveled to Chicago just this past Oct, you are not joking about the roads there!
