Anybody tracking your Z - what brand/weight oil do you recommend??

I haven't heard of anyone using anything different than the recommended oil in the manual for road course duties: Mobil 1 15W-50.

I'm sure there are other excellent higher weight oils that could be used without issue.

Thanks bishman. I was not aware that they recommemded 15-50. That is what I used in my C5 track car so I have a god supply. My Z is being built June 2/3 so I did not have acess to owners manual yet

Seems I read to put in an additional quart when doing a track day and then take it out for street driving. Did I dream that?
