Weapon X Aero Kit Installed
GM did me a favor when they constrained the stage 2 aero kit when my order went through back in October. For just a little over what I would have paid for carbon flash splitter and rockers, I got those items AND a rear diffuser in visible carbon fiber.
I thought some of you might be interested in pictures of Ben's carbon fiber Z06 aero kit installed - splitter, rocker blades, and rear diffuser. These pictures may help you see some subtle differences in Weapon X's design which I think are advantageous: 1) the splitter fits higher on the nose than OEM which will help avoid front end obstacles; 2) the rocker blades provide greater coverage toward the rear of the car.
I was pleased with the quality of the parts, how they look on the car and installation was not too difficult using the detailed instructions provided. Here's a link to Ben's site: https://weaponx-c7.myshopify.com/col...apon7-aero-kit. I met Ben at the Corvette Bash in April. He's a true Corvette enthusiast in the business of helping the rest of us.

I already figured to get those side skirts and rear panel from WX, except in carbon flash. Or maybe the side skirts in Flash, and the rear panel in visible fiber, not sure.
On the fence about a front splitter.
But, i need my car, first.
Thanks for the pics.

It looks awesome. Is that the stage 2 splitter?
I really worried about hitting curbs. Is there also a stage 1 splitter done in carbon fiber?

Looks awesome. That rear pic is the money shot! I ordered the same and just recently received a giant box from Weapon X. Hope to get my installed in the next couple of weeks. Did you do it yourself or have it done? Diffuser installation is making me nervous but hopefully not too bad.

Looks like the front of the skirts extend into the front wheel well. Are the splash guards trimmed shorter to accommodate? Are the splash guards included from WeaponX or are those GM splash guards that are modded?

The splash guards did not require modification. Splash guards are from GM and I had previously replaced them. They are identical to the originals with the slight extension out of the wheel well.

Are the parts functional?

I like everything but that rear wing contraption. Wish that Corvette would make that flush with the body work and only raise it's ugly head at speeds where it is needed.
