What’s the real deal with the carbon fiber availability

Default What’s the real deal with the carbon fiber availability

I have been trying to get my order in and my dealer is telling me that there are constraints on the Carbon Fiber and they are unable to place my order at this time.

Are they full of ****?

looking to get a Z06 Cpe w/3LZ
8 speed automatic
sunrise orange black interior
spectra gray wheels with machined groove
Z07 package
Dark gray calipers
carbon flash hood stinger stripe
visible carbon fiber panel roof
visible carbon fiber ground effects
interior carbon fiber trim package

drop the CF and buy it aftermarket !

Yep, after waiting 4 months for my order to go to 2000 due to stage 2 aero constraints, that's what I did. Got my aero installed a month after I picked up the car.

Where did you buy your aero and get it installed? Was the rear spoiler the Aero 2

Dealer is you telling you the truth. I had to drop mine also and car went straight thru.

All Z07 packages have carbon fiber aero. It is only visible carbon fiber that's constrained, and I don't think that has changed much recently. Some percentage of Z07 buyers will have to take CFZ rather than CFV.

If you really need to have visible carbon fiber and can't deal with one of the large dealers who are more likely to be less constrained, sell the CFZ pieces and buy aftermarket visible cf pieces.
