Default Just received TPW of 7/13 for my 2016

Like the title says, TPW for my Shark Gray Z06 3LZ is 7/13. Delivery estimated end Aug, beginning Sept. Can't wait to see how this machine performs against my 2008 Z06 that I previously owned.

Why so long if it's produced 7/13?
I ask because that's when mine is produced.
I expected it to be at dealership within 2 weeks.
What am I missing?

It's my understanding that the first bunch of new year cars are held a bit longer for QC (quality control) reasons.

The possible 2 week QC hold on the car and if it's shipped by rail....

I just got word that mine will be built the week of 7/13 as well. I am guessing that it will be delivered by mid-August (Oklahoma). Unfortunately I will be out of the country for the first couple of weeks of August, so I hope it is not delivered early, as I will be compelled to drop the wife and kids to come home and get it.

I ordered TR, A8, 2LZ plus nav/pdr, stinger hood, comp seats. I cannot wait. I had to order the car in Stage 1 due to constraints, but I have already ordered the Stage 2/3 spoiler from Cultrag. As soon as Katech has any inventory, I will order a splitter and rockers as well. If they do not get inventory soon, I will have to order from somewhere else.

Mine had a 7/13 TPW as well.

I checked with chevy chat online, and they told me yesterday the car had been built and they gave me the vin #, which is 0066 (its a z06).

Today I checked the order status at chevrolet.com, and it said the car is "shipped/en route". I wonder how accurate that is, because I am only 100 miles north of the plant.

I might have to be going to bust my piggy banks now.

I'm also TPW 7/13 doing a Museum Delivery.

I'm hoping the car will be ready early August, as they only have to move it across the street.

I wanted VIN #66 but got #76 and mine was built on 6/23. How did that happen?

I'm on the same boat. Had 7/13 and happened to check yesterday then found out it had already been built. Hoping it goes on QC hold or something because I won't be in California until September and I don't want it to sit on the dealer's lot for people to play with.

You guys are lucky. I checked with chat on friday and I am still waiting on a vin number. This is the week though. I am sure there will be a nationwide trucking strike this week with my luck.
