Trying to decide if I should go with the exposed carbon fiber or carbon flash. I guess the carbon fiber stinger is new for 2016. If I go exposed I will get the exposed carbon fiber roof and side skirts to. What do you think...

If you get the carbon ground effects (non carbon flash) I would go for it.

If you go CF, go with it everywhere else. Either carbon flash or carbon fiber. Choose one as I think it clashes when you mix. I've even seen guys swap out there OEM carbon flash vents and trim for aftermarket carbon fiber. Expensive, but it looks great!

Default 2016 exposed carbon fiber hood

This is my new car! Just got the pic today. It has the exposed carbon fiber hood. Will have the exposed carbon ground effects...those are put on after so they don't get damaged along the assembly line. I love it. Much better than the vinyl decal. Will have more pics in about 2 weeks when I do the NCM delivery. I will share more pics then if you need more.

Can not tell if it is carbon fiber or not from a distance. Just another 2grand.

I have photos you can see on my public profile page. Carbon fiber stage 2, carbon fiber roof, carbon flash stinger

IMO, there is no question the exposed carbon fiber weave on the hood is the way to go IF an accentuated dark stinger is what you want AND you want it from the factory. To my eye, the hood itself is a showpiece and it is not important if all other bits/pieces/accents are or are not carbon fiber. I am not a fan of $500 stinger vinyl stickers. The other great option is a painted stinger after you take delivery - do a search here and find pics.

I'm thinking carbon fiber hood stinger and carbon fiber hood. Then doing the mirrors black and the ground effects carbon flash. I'm not sure about the looks of the carbon fiber ground effects. I think the plain black ground effects look better.

Aftermarket stickers will run less $. I believe the MSRP on the factory vinyl sticker is $500. If stickers are ok for you, then this is a great, inexpensive option. Nothing wrong with that. In my book, the exposed CF is the ultimate and painted stinger (which I wish GM would offer!) would be my second choice.
