Default Installation of Rocker Panels and Stage 3 Spoiler/Wickerbill

Hey Guys,

I received the Stage 3 kit (2xRocker Panels + 1xWicker bill + 2xSpoiler Extensions) and was wondering where did you guys install these upgrade kits?

Did you visit the Dealer or just go to any body shop?

Also how much $$$ for installation?

Thanks,

Just do it yourself. If you've never touched a screwdriver before, I guess you can take it to any mechanic shop.

The three wickerbills (two side, one smoked center) are easy. Buy a #15 torx screwdriver.

The side skirts will depend on whether you have a way to lift the car a bit and how yours attach. A dealer can install those easily if you don't feel up to it. Or you could contact your local Corvette Club and ask for help.

If you received the factory install instructions then any competent body shop or dealer could install. If not, there are copy of the instructions on here somewhere. (Sorry on iPhone so not easiest search). The skirts have some very specific drilling instructions because of coolant lines running through the rocker panels. The rear spoiler parts are simply installing with screws in holes already there.

I'm in SW Ohio. I have a lift. IF you are close enough to drive here, I'll help you with them.

I have to say that's one of the nicest offers I have seen here. Very cool of you.

Yea the dealer just quoted me 400 bucks just to install the 2 side rockers!

Definitely hitting up the local mechanic

The dealer you bought it from? Not very accomodating.

I suggest you sneak around to the PDI area in the shop. That is where all these parts are installed after the car is delivered to the dealer. They are NOT pre-installed at the factory.
It's these guys that do this install all day long!

So kinda get close to the guys and ask if they'd do you a favor. At work or after they've mastered the 'learning curve' long ago and can do it in no time! Maybe a Ben Franklin would convince them that you are a long lost friend.

That's what I plan to do. I ordered with just stage 1 aero so that I would not have to worry about 'constraints' again. I bought the 2/3 wickerbill and skirts (GM OEM) as parts. When the car arrives I'll be the PDI guys best friend. No sweat!
