Default Mpg

My Z06 gets better MPG than my blown 2014 Stingray did and ALMOST
as good as a stock C7. I'm getting 20 combined and 28 highway
in V8 mode not eco. The m7 Z06 gets unreal MPG for what it is.
I think the M7 is underrated mine stays above 19 no matter in town or not.
Not that I bought it for the MPG but it is a nice bonus!

You have a heavy foot my friend. Any car gets poor MPG with a heavy foot.

I see 20 mpg if I'm lucky - with an M7 Z07.
Only have 2200 miles, so we'll see if it changes over time.

This is approx, 1 more MPG than my old ZR.

I don't see 20MPG with a stock C7, you must be driving it like my grandpa would.

You did this 2200 miles ago. my results have increased slightly. I went from 13.07mpg to 13.14mpg. Awesome results, must be loosening up some. Good thing you drive 80 miles to work. I just cruise the city lookin at chicks look at me. There's an ego boost.

Why even buy the car if all you are going to do is drive people to bingo.

Last weekend, drove from Houston to Austin and back. Most of the trip was a 75-80 MPH. The A8 got just over 23 mpg for the whole trip, including some driving in Austin traffic. Hard to argue with that for 650/650!

You must drive.... tamely

Even with the Halltech I get 16-17 on a good day. 28 is only possible at like 50 mph in 7th. Who would do that?

Max mpg that I've seen is around 44 mph in 6th/eco. I've seen 34 sustained. Which immediately turned into 13 mpg right after I floored it to 130 again.

I've been driving mine just about every day since December 10 and am just over 4,000 miles on the odometer.

The car tells me I have averaged 13.7 mpg over that period. My best 50 miles was 19.9 mpg.

If you can average 20 around town you are not having as much as I do. I suppose your grandpa and I might be around the same age -- 70s?

Funny because im **** about my truck (DD) mpg but honestly could care less about the Z.... bought it to drive it the way it was designed to be driven

I was able to get almost 28 MPG average from DC to ATL, 650+ miles, not bad!

Just finished a 7600 mile trip from Vermont to Spring Mountain and back. Climbed Pikes Peak, visited some other National Parks along the route, so it wasn't all Interstate miles. For the whole trip the car averaged 24.9 mpg. Will admit most of that was in Eco mode except when Weather mode was needed.
As far as around home where temptation gets the better of me I am lucky to get 17mpg.

I thought about starting this same thread but figured I would get slammed for driving too slow.
I only tried once, as an exercise in constraint, to drive from Dallas to Houston going the speed limit.
At 112 miles I was averaging 26.2.

Then a brand new Challenger (not a Hellcat) pulled up alongside of me and wanted to sprint. My avg dropped off - as did the Challenger.

Finished the trip with 267 miles right at 24.1

It's just another measure of this car's incredible capabilities.

To be honest.......I have no clue what I get for miles-per-gallon. Have never looked into this with any of my prior corvettes either. I do know that I have to give it a lot more gas in 1st gear than any previous car, so I am guessing that is lowering my mpg, but I don't care. I just love driving the darn car............it really does bring a smile to my face. And yes, I do seem to be at the gas station quite a bit.................just means I am having fun. At the end of the year I have spent another $20 to $40 extra..................can't even take the grand kids and their parents out for ice- cream for that amount anymore.
