Default M7 10.89 @ 133 on street tires

Went to gateway motorsports tonight was only able to do one run - track officials wouldn't let my do a second run because I was wearing shorts.... I forgot my pants

84°, 64% humidity, 2462 DA - definitely not ideal circumstances but really enjoyed running a 10 second run on street tires and cutting a 1.7x - lots of people surrounded the car afterwards - and lots of thumbs up from the stands

Great run man... More details please. Like what mode where you in? What kind of burnout did you do?

Nice 60 foot time also!

Would like to hear from the peeps who say this car can't run 133 trap speeds...what does this mean now? The car is not capable and some how it has to do with the track entering cheat codes?

Touring mode - traction control off - stabilitrack on

This was the first and only run of the night, and the first time I took this car to the track - I have the PDR which I will load as well - I short shifted the whole way down the track - really not a hero run

Yes - easy bolt ons - and a not so awesome run (see vid)

Just an example of what you can do with a few extra $$'s - I will have hoosiers and front runners here within a week or two - then you will see 1.5x 60 foots, and no short shifting - I'll hit 10.30s with the car - in good air the car has a 10.0X in it

Right before the run I was looking up rangers techniques online - burnout in 2nd - launched around 2500 rpm - see video

Thank you for the 60 foot time comment - that is the best 60 foot I have ever done on street tires and the only reason the car got into the 10's for the run

Actually - when we were tuning the car - the conversation came up

He has a client with his same mods and the A8 - it's way faster consistently he believes - I believe once someone figures out how to tune they're my we will see A8s in the 8s with minimal mods - low 9's for sure, but take what I have a run a 150 squirt and my car is a low 10 high 9's on street tires - I will get my car as is 10.0x by end of year with better tires and better air - an A8 would shave another 2 tenths easy without tranny mods

Nice job. Looked like a nice smooth run on the video. With all that hp/torq I'm assuming the stock clutch? saved you being on street tires. With a good drag radial the clutch might want to stick to the floor and it might be tough to pick up .05-.06 with your current setup in the heat. But you have the power for 9's for sure. Not sure why your mph is quite low; the car could be pulling timing in the heat along with street tires/stock clutch and easy pass. Didn't think you short shifted that much, though. I'm sure you'll see better times to come with more seat time. I also think it will be tough for you to run 9's with true street tires, but I know you'll try, which is cool.
Again, assuming you are running the stock clutch. Be aware that if you decide to install a hard hitting dual disk clutch, then you will be spinning down the track if you are making 700/700. Be safe.
Just my .02.

Great numbers. It's no surprise you needed to change your shorts after that run.

The M7's are going to surprise with good driver's. I was surprised my m7 took out a GTR with mods. Nice nice work!
