Getting ready to finalize my order and having issues picking the wheels. I like the dark look with white but have never been a huge fan of gloss black wheels as I feel you can't define he wheel when u back away from it. But they do look really nice on the z with all the black accents. Gonna do Exposed CF ground effects so would love to see some white with specta if you guys have pics.
The wheel i would like to see offered from GM would be the black lightweight wheel offered for the ZR1 but with the faces of the spokes having a "machine face".
IMO this would work well with most colors and escape the missing wheel look, or doughnut spare tire look that sometimes comes from all black wheels and dark calipers
Man your car looks awesome. I think that's it. I have been torn on the white roof/ or exposed carbon targa. Any good close up pics against the white and black with carbon? Does it have a brown hue or more of light gray to match the spectra?
The hue changes slightly with light. I have seen a slight brown hue at times, but generally looks grayish. Go back to my folder, you should be able to enlarge those pics with good detail. Here a couple others.

Thanks for the compliment. I actually sold this car in June and have a 16 on order. I don't think I have any close up pics of the top. It looks great but I ordered the trans top for my 16, it's just much easier to see for me. I'm 6'2" so the trans roof helps see traffic lights and such.
This is probably the best pic i have of the top.
I was going to the drag strip and had changed the rear wheels and tires with my drag radials on it. These are from my previous GS .

What made you switch to the 16? Transmission change m7 to a8 and what color did you go with on there 16?

It was primarily for the A8. I was just very disappointed in the M7 and its drag strip runs. I ordered almost the same car. AW but with the ecf hood, black outside mirrors, chrome wheels, and no Z07 or comp seats. They hold you great, but at too much loss of comfort. I dd mine so it adds up.
I'd definitely go with the spectra. They are dark enough to give you that look you are going for with all the other dark pieces on the car, plus the spectra will match better with your exposed carbon fiber. The machines lip around the spectra wheels provides a nice line of separation between the rim and wheel. I think the spectra rims are the obvious choice on ANY color ZO6.
