Default Halltech intake drag race results

You guys have all been asking for a "real world" comparison with a stock Z06 (A8) with a Halltech intake. Well, here you go......
My car ran a previous best of 11.16 at 123 mph on DR's and DA that was 2200-2300. I just installed my new Gen 2 Halltech CAI and drove 175 miles to the drag strip tonight. DA was 2200 and on my same DR's and NO other mods, ran a new PB of 10.77 at 128!!! BAM. I couldn't be happier. Thank you Jim Hall. You are the real deal. So glad I bought this intake. This car hauls *** now. Very happy!

-John

I'll be more than happy to post once I get back home. Sitting in a hotel room right now. My previous 1/8 mph was 98.34. Tonight was 103.3 and over 2 tenths quicker in the eighth!

That is a huge gain.
Looking forward to the slips, how much difference in 60' foot time?

1.68 on my 11.16 run. 1.62 tonight at 10.77. A little better but the huge mph increase was no doubt the intake. DA was damn near the same. Car just keeps pulling now. Love it!

I was wrong guys. My previous best was an 11.18 at just over 122. The results are even better than I thought. To be fair, DA was just over 2400.
