Back From US/Canada Tour - Over 10K Miles!
We are back from our tour of the US and Canada. We did a very healthy trek East from Niagara to Virginia and then across the US, up through Victoria Island and then back to Niagara. The car ran flawlessly! Total mileage was just over 15,400km for the trip and I have just over 20K on it in under 3 months...it is resting in the garage for now. Overall mileage was 21MPG, even through some of the toughest driving, and here are a few pictures of the mileage and some shots along the way...low res but available in higher res by PM if anyone is interested:
Let's see if I can get the entire trip here: New York, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, Tennessee, Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas, Colorado, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, California, Oregon, Washington, BC, Alberta, Saskatewan, Manitoba and back to Ontario...

Yes stock for the Z06 and that is something I have been thinking about as well. The thing I am finding now is that they will break and the car pull right a bit quicker but they have yet to hit the wear bars. My driving is not by any means polite and often I would describe that I am the quickest there is from 0 to the speed limit....much of our travel on this trip actually being very aggressive as we negotiated the twisties at very uncomfortable speeds at The Tail of the Dragon, Snake Run, Angeles National Park as well as both stretches of the PCH (Cal Hwy 1) coast line. The tires and the gas mileage impressed me immensely!

Absolutely gorgeous photos, thanks for sharing!
What's really impressive is how you managed to get a clean-car photo in each of those locales. Did you do a little detail spray before each one?
Love those spectra gray wheels!

Absolute truth...and XPEL is going to love this one... There were only two car washes where I pulled it into a bay for the whole trip. The remainder were simply early morning coffee while wiping my car down with my BlackFire Waterless Wash Sprayer. I thought for sure there would be swirls or marks near the end of the trip as there was abs no wax applied, but not, XPEL is amazing.
I just reviewed every picture and can say that there was no pre-picture cleaning whatsoever on any. They were taken just where we stopped, and all cleaning was my early morning ritual. Hows this for a wash though? It was at the Grand Canyon Northern rim...

Nice photo shots. The car looks great with the red rocks in the background. Perfect colour for that shot.

Awesome!!!!!!!!!
Great photos.
Longest trip I've done in a Corvette(C6Z06) is 6418 miles in one sitting.
What is fun is to watch are people's faces when you're unloading/loading your car at a motel, and they see how much stuff will fit in the back of your car.
Everyone takes photos of the big guys(elk, moose, bison, bears, etc,) but the little guys like to have their picture taken also. This little fella was hiding in the Canyonlands National Park.
