What's the stock rake for a Z?
I just picked up a z07 and want to reduce the 4x4 look. I've heard some cars are setup at different heights than others for transportation purposes. So before I lower it and just assume I have an accurate baseline, what is everyone getting as a rake front to back? The goal is to keep the rake where it "should be" to keep the aero jiving.
I think a measurement from the ground to the center of the wheel well should suffice
Thanks!

Your problem with a Z07 is that you're only going to be able to go down about 1/4 of an inch at the back on stock bolts, so although you can drop the front a lot more you'll be increasing the rake.
Stock heights vary per car but are at about 27 3/4 front and 29 1/4 rear from ground to fender ... I ended up going to 27 and 29. But it was making it hard to get the track alignment done at those heights so I recently went back to stock.

The non Z07 can go down a lot more.
I think I read somewhere that these will work: https://www.lgmotorsports.com/corvet...-spindles.html
But double check that they're compatible with Z07 package before you drop $3k on them.

Did you ever install the Pfadt lowering bolts on the rear?
If so, how much more drop did you get? And, any noise from them?
Thanks,
Rob

Nah I didn't, after seeing them I just didn't trust them enough on track. There was nothing wrong with them and they are way better that the kind WCC sells, I just chickened out and dropped her as much as I could on stock bolts. So I ended up selling them. Sorry I can't give you any feedback on them.

After lowering the rear the allowable 1/4" I still would like to see quite a bit more. I feel like I've seen tons of pictures of lower z's.
You guys mentioned pfadt and wcc. Can I just cut the OEM bolt bases? Also how do I get them out to do so? I sware I did this on my last z, but am brain dead since it was five years ago
Edit: that's how they come out https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...t-install.html
Sorta a pain.
