Default Infotainment system on the fritz

Just moved my car around in the garage and the infotainment system would not turn off after the car had been switched off and locked. For some reason it also brought up "phone volume" instead of radio volume and would not let the radio come on.

Checked if there were any phones connected and there aren't (mine has never been paired). Screen stayed on for a good 10 or 15 minutes after the car was switched off then finally turned off. Anyone experience this before or have any suggestions for resetting the system?

Car's a 2016 with 5 miles on it.

Are you sure your shutting car off and not leaving it in the accessory mode?

Yup, seems like something is keeping the screen on? Not sure.

Anyone? Would a battery pull reset the infotainment system? If so, what else would it affect?

One quick thing to try --- Start the car outside of your garage, push and hold the radio on/off switch for several seconds until the clock appears in the navigation screen. This completely turns the radio and navigation unit off. Then push the on/off button to turn everything back on. Turning the car off basically put the radio and Nav unit in a sleep mode. It would probably be good to be outside in a clear area so the gps and radio can receive satellite signals when turned back on.

Alright I'll give this a try. Thanks!
