Default Why was the red valve, engine cover abandoned?

The C5Z had it.

The C6Z had it.

The Prototype LT4 had it. Why was it abandoned for production?

Anyone make one for the LT4? Stupid I know, but I always liked the contrast.

Maybe the pigment in the red powder coating bled from overheating.

Zing, pow, bang, boom...

Default Red covers

Don't know why they changed. But I agree that the red fuel rail covers made a nice contrast. I had my covers (now called coil covers) painted the same color as the C5 and C6 Z06's. I like the results

Any chance they stopped due to heat transfer? I've got a new one ordered but I'm starting to get nervous that there aren't many reported as having installed them so wondering what kind of problem(s) I might have?
