Ceramic brake job cost?
Not needed yet...but as I continue tracking the car I am wanting to know what the ceramic brake job is gonna cost when time comes...
...anyone know?
CCB replacement on Porsches are said to be $18-20K... hopefully made in 'Merica ccb's are a good bit less to replace...
Thanks in advance

Burning Brakes
Pads retail for ~$2 at the dealer. Rotors, $12k.
But you can get these exact same OEM pieces for much less at on-line wholesalers.
Pads, ~$1300 and rotors, ~$6500 shipped.

You have to be willing to shop and buy your parts when the price is low rather than when you need them.
I just bought a full set of pads (front and rear) for $700 (round numbers) off Amazon. Rotors are currently a little over $1,000 which is historically, not a bad price. They have dropped into the $800's a few times and into the 7's once or twice. Patience and diligence are keys to minimizing costs for these brakes.
My current rotors are on their 6th set of pads; still good.

I sell the factory GM CCB pads for $625 (front) and $580 (rear). I would not worry about the cost or rotors until you've gone through 4-5 sets of front pads first. Even at that point, it's unlikely the rotors will need replacing. These brakes may be a little more expensive than you're used to, but they last a long time.
The most important thing with these brakes is to properly burnish them.
Keep in mind that most of the factory CCB's are made by Brembo so the difference in cost from P cars to F cars to Corvette is based on the car manufactures mark up. What the Ferrari owners pay for the "same" replacement set will buy us 2-3 sets.

Make sure you don't allow the pads to get too thin or you'll wear out the rotors far quicker. I intend to replace the pads when they get down to about 1/3 thickness. Especially keep an eye on the inner portion of the pads and the rears will wear quicker than the front if you keep lots of 'nannies' on.

I can get 1-2 more track days from the rear pads if I let them wear almost to the backing plate.

I checked Amazon with GM part numbers and AC Delco numbers but no luck for the CC brakes.
You're doing something wrong. I get my brake parts, pads and rotors, from Amazon. They delivered a set of pads last week.
For example, type 177-1120 into the Amazon searh bar. You should get rotor information.

That is not a Z07 rotor. I think it's for a ZR1 isn't it?

Once the aftermarket starts making them you will get them at very low prices, if you are not hard on pads you will get about 30K out of the front.
Usually double that on the rears

17,450 miles which include burnishing and 7 hpde week end and my fronts are still within 3/4 of the original thickness. I do track on a track that really doesnt use brakes... i'd say a street car should see at least 50-70k on pads if not more...

Yes, I'm running a 2011 Z06/Z07, basically a ZR1 chassis with an LS7 engine. I thought the C7 carbon ceramic brakes were the same. Didn't know about the rear brake sensor wire. Good info.
