Default Union Pacific rail shipment routes?

OK, so my Z06 left Joliette, IL at 5.55 AM today on a UP train, the automated tracking tells me its ETA is 8 AM, Sept 8th in "Industry".

The Z is ultimately going to PHX, does "Industry" mean its going to CA?

I know they have a freight yard in Long Beach and LA, but wasn't aware on one in City of Industry.

Is it then getting put on another train to PHX, on get trucked from LA to PHX? That seems unlikely.

Any info appreciated. Dealer says ETA in PHX is the 12th.

I never really cared when any other car I ever ordered, showed up, I just waited for the dealer to give me a call.

"Industry" is the final rail destination. Once it arrives there it can sit a few days to be unloaded and wait to get on another truck to be taken to your dealer.

Congrats, when I ordered my '14 Z51 it was a very sleepless time while I tracked the car to California. Now I ordered a Z06 and I'm restarting this whole thing..

But does that mean City of Industry?

Seems odd to ship it to CA, when they could drop it at Tuscon, and route it up to PHX.

Or maybe the train won't even stop in AZ,and will have cars switched around again in CA before heading back to Tucson on another train, and then PHX.

I can't imagine it getting trucked 375 miles from CA to AZ
