XM radio subscription length?
My 2016 was an early car (#91) and delivered with no window sticker. Prior to delivery, the dealer told me he thought it came with one year of XM. I thought that turned out to be 6 months at delivery. XM.com tells us we have only 3 months. Can someone here please look at their sticker (or other info) to clear this up for me? Thanks.

Same happened with me -- a letter arrived in the mail telling me my subscription was expiring. When I phoned, they told me that this is a routine mailer that is sent to everyone. After looking me up in their system they confirmed one year for a 3LZ. Bottom line: ignore the notice.

Amazing...XM blames the dealer; dealer blames XM for not getting it right. I found the best way is to call XM directly....they changed mine to 1 year and sent a confirmation....also, the one year went from the date I called and bitched rather than the date of sale. Gotta watch OnStar for same games.

The trim level -- and therefore the subscription length -- is right there in the VIN. The dealership only needs to get involved if Sirius/XM somehow got the wrong VIN. Chances are that a phone call directly to XM will solve the issue.
(A J, K, L, or M in the fifth place of the VIN designates a 2LZ or 3LZ.)
