Default Who makes the best Z06 Carbon Fiber diffuser and rear spoiler?

I recently sold a Stingray Z51 that had C7 (brand) carbon fiber front splitter and side skirts. They looked good but the components were a bit flimsy and the fit was off just a bit. Question is...who makes the best quality rear diffuser and/or rear spoiler/wickerbill for the Z06? My Z06 TPW is this week and I was lucky enough to get the stage 2 visible carbon fiber ground effects! Looking to add rear diffuser and rear spoiler in carbon fiber. I would prefer to hear from Z06 owners and their opinions and not vendors.

Best as in bolt holes lining up, edges of diffuser lining up with fenders and fascia, thickness of carbon fiber, and quality of finish/clear coat. Like I said, my last splitter and side skirts were very thin, flimsy and edges were rough. Looked good in pictures, but could have been better quality for the price.

On mine, the holes didn't line up, it looked good, but very thin and flimsy.

Suggest you consider Katech. Outstanding fit and appearance. Cheaper than oem. Downside. Still not cheap.

I have a WeaponX diffuser that I'm thinking of swapping out for an APR, I like the deep color of their carbon, and I have their carbon on my car from the wheels forward now, Katech side skirts and weaponX rear, all look a little different, but APR is the best IMO. A few sites seem to be having sales on APR stuff now, too.

I went APR! It looks amazing! 100% Carbon Fiber! OEM ftment! BETTER than OEM quality!

I did EXTENSIVE research and I decided on APR. I suggest you do the same. I was one of the first Zs in SoCal and no one, and I mean NO ONE, had the carbon fiber aero parts when I ordered my car. I had to change my order from CFV to CFZ due to the constraints. I was not about to wait! I had a lot of information from my C6 days and still researched every company I could think of. I wanted 100% carbon fiber, so that easily got rid of many vendors and left me with only a few companies.

I will let the pics do the talking at this point...

Thanks for the excellent pictures. Beautiful car, I almost went with DSOM. Looks like APR makes a quality product.

Is there a big difference between the APR and Weapon X? I wanted to do a diffuser for my car but it depends on quality and cost. Speaking of cost, what do these things run nowadays?

Thanks

Our diffuser is best in my opinion. The fit is great and the carbon fiber coming out of the new shop is clear coated and looks wet.

Those fins in your links look like crap. I would like to see this new design installed on a vehicle as they look much better wider.

I think they look great, and have been inspired by many motorsports designs.

Thanks for your comments. I must say it really improves the look of the car, particularly in the sun.

Does the APR diffuser have a hole for the tow hook? I thought it did but dcher's pic doesn't seem to show it. APR all the way, they sell their unit with an undertray for about as much as other folks are selling just the diffuser by itself, or save some $ and just get the diffuser. The undertray design makes sense when you get under the car and see that the diffuser kind of acts like an air shovel pushing air into the rear bumper area. Do yourself a favor and get the APR from the start so you aren't replacing carbon parts like yours truly with the APR stuff.

Good luck!
