I bring two buckets with grit guards to the wash with soap, 4 micro fiber sponges an the most important 4 waffle weave towels.Basically only hand wash or the paint will get damaged.

I take mine to get detailed. I wash it myself once in a while with the two bucket method starting next spring. I will not wash my car myself when it is below 60f outside. Its too cold for me to be fooling around with cold water. lol

Drive through moving track (i.e., conveyor belt) auto car wash with brushes. Rear tires are too wide to use through any other kind of auto wash. Only $6 and it does a great job, even on the wheels.

Any washes where thousands of cars have been at cause a possible recipe for disaster when it brushes the last guys dirt ect back into your car.The worst is the dealer,i dont think they ever clean those things.Auto washes are the worst because your wheels are so big,i lost the paint on two rims with tht Z doing that.

Hard to believe that anyone takes a Corvette to someone else to be washed. A Corvette has to be one of the easiest cars ever made to wash. How lazy can a person be. No wonder there are so many fat slobs in this country.

after the effort put into perfecting the paint initially, there's no way I'd let a mechanical brush touch it. And I have no way of knowing what someone I don't know might be doing to the surface.

My car has been through the car wash somewhere around 50 to 75 times already. I am providing a picture of the carbon fiber top with different lighting applied. See any swirls? I'm happy will it. I know your car is precious, so don't drive through.
