Default Blacking-out the huge arc-shaped running lights?

I am curious about THE BEST solution that Forum members have found for blacking-out those ugly humongous arc-shaped running side-lights (front & rear). I've got a black Z06 which makes the eye sore even sore-er. I'm looking for something legitimate and up-scale, not spray paint or cheap tape. Anyone got a good solution? Thanks!

Window tint or black-out spray for tail lights.

That rear bumper reflector is another FUGLY design.

I removed mine, had them painted, and reinstalled them. I did the tail lights, reflectors below the tails, and signals front and rear. Not a great pic, but here you go.

I tinted out basically all the lights on my black cobra, but was always uneasy about 1) legality / getting pulled over; and, 2) what might happen in the event of an accident and subsequent lawsuit (did modded lights make the vehicle more difficult to see, etc).

Anyone have any perspective here? I like the look!

Have "smoked" all the lights on every Vette I have owned since my 1993 and have NEVER had any problems here in republik of Maryland! Had problems with tinted windows and lack of front plate, though!

$25 from Zip and look great. You can spend a lot more but IMHO they won't look any better...
