Default Custom One-Off Black Z06 Spice Red Build

I received my Triple Black Z06 last April with the "Jet Black" interior and custom painted some of the exterior pieces with Crystal Red to highlight important areas on a Black car to provide more visibility.

I have now gone a step further with the replacement of the black 2LZ interior with a `16 Spice Red 3LZ interior.

The interior brushed aluminum pieces have been painted Crystal Red to provide contrast to Spice Red interior.

Many thanks to Rick at Trunkmonkeyparts.com for getting the needed parts to make this happen!

Here are a few pics of the new Spice Red interior...........

Nicely Done.

Was wondering when you were going to post pics of your new interior.

On a side note: I was under the impression that the whole dash was Spice Red with the Spice Red Package. I like your dash, with the splash of spice red, better. I thought the Spice Red package was just too much Spice. Like your 2-tone set up better. Well done.

Question: Did you just replace your spice red dash parts with new ones, or did the dash come 2-tone?

I like it. I bet you are having fun with the mods. You won't have to wonder which black vette is yours.

The full dash (part above the passenger side trim-glove box) is not available as a part to order. The Spice Red interior from the factory does come with it as Spice Red as you noted.

The only dash parts ordered are the surround around the instrument cluster and passenger side trim above glove box. No others are available.

Nice. How hard was it to change the dash pieces?

Interior looks pretty nice...not feeling the mirrors or hood vent though. But hey; its your car, and if you like it...that's all that matters.

The line between cool and too much is getting real close. Some stuff looks OEM, some stuff is obviously stickers and looks tacky IMO. But it's your car, if you enjoy it who cares.

Just a signature away!

Thanks to everyone for the compliments.

I like what Corvette did with their Michelin Corvette Challenge car!

I like to think they were checking my car when they did their color scheme. Looks good to me.

Your seats have a lot of wrinkles in them. Was this a byproduct of swapping seat covers? I've heard its almost impossible to get them perfect.

Once the car seats out in the sun for 3 or 4 days wrinkles will go away.

When I bought my c6Z, brand new with under 7 miles, the side bolster had a razor thin cut in it. probably from the transport driver. Dealer replaced entire seat skin. It had a few wrinkles. sitting in the heat took care of it.

The hot pink lipstick accents do standout.
