Drag radials on stock wheels or 18" wheel
Debating on going with a drag radial on the stock rim or a drag radial on a c5z rear wheel. Which route should I go with? I know a lot of y'all are running drag radials.

I run them on (a spare set of) stock wheels, but in 20" our only option is the MT S/S. They're good but very soft, hook like crazy, and some find them a little unstable until they get the pressures set right. Still no doubt better than an 18" with more sidewall I'd imagine for stability.
18" will give you more traction because it has more sidewall flex, if you don't mind the non-stock look and running a different wheel.
I went with the stock rim and TPMS sensors so it's very little different than stock. You could still do that with an 18 though, I suppose.

I have a set of c5z wheels laying around that's why I was asking about that setup. That way I only have to buy tires. But if an 18" setup will make the car unstable and wander id rather not go with route.

C5 Z06 Wheels
Make sure if you use the 18x10.5 inch rear C5 Z06 wheels that they are the GM factory wheels and not the replicas. I bought a set of C5 Z06 wheels for my C5 for autocrossing and was curious about using the 18's for drag radials on my C7 Z06 (iron brakes rotors). Before mounting any tires on the rims, I tried them on my C7 Z06. I noticed that I had a GM factory wheel and a replica wheel. The GM(Speedline)factory one fit and but the replica did not clear the caliper. Just enough difference to hit.
