Default How would you camouflage this?

I have this weird scratch in spite of having a nano bra. This thing cut into the bra. This thing cut into the bra. It also removed some paint. I want to keep my original paint because it tends to hold up better so I was wondering any suggestions to try to either paint over with some words or designs or anything that would make this look better.

I can't help re: how to camouflage that scratch, and would guess it will have to be painted, but what is a "nano bra"? Some kind of ceramic coating? Because there is no way a ceramic coating is going to protect the car from road debris like Xpel Ultimate, etc. might want to consider it after you've repaired the scratch?

If your car wasn't black this may be an option. Still may be if use a flat black wrap?? I know the pic is a Stingray, but first pic I found without digging.

Nano is another form like xpel. All the local high end dealers use it

I'd pay to have that lower valence repainted if you can do it for under $500, which I imagine you should be able to. There's got to be a seam or and edge you can stop at (for the clear) within some reasonable distance.

There are other solutions, but then you'll know it's there and it's going to bug you. The car is new enough I'd eat the cost to keep it like new. But that's just me.

I would certainly check with a good paint shop. I have also used a firm called Carnica that does all the paint touch up on dealer used cars they take in, including bumpers. The scratch can be repaired and painted but you would need to clear coat a larger area. Given where it is located, if it were mine I would get it repaired and painted and clear coat only the bumper top just under the grill and lightly feather the new clear at any new paint edges. Would have the clear go below the bumper front edge just a bit. it won't be perfect but given the black color and its location I'll bet you would be happy with it and no one else would ever know it is there. Otherwise, just have the bumper repainted professionally. Usually about $500-$700 as I recall.--Bob

You could wear more rubbers! Doesn't look good tho.

That's xpel Trac wrap on top of Xpel .....double protection<br/>

A must for track days....and applies, comes off in minutes.

Prolly would also use it for long road trips....

I can afford to get it repainted the only thing that I've heard and I actually seen is that original paint to last a lot longer on the floor and aftermarket coatings. I guess the first step is I really need to get that clear bra off which I paid $700 for. It's the craziest scratch though I'm guessing it could only be caused by it's the craziest scratch though.

In the past I hit a.branch on the road with a clear bra on. The bumper looked pretty bad. The day before an appointment with a body shop, I removed the clear bra. The bumper was immaculate. I bet yours is untouched too.

From the pick it looks like that leading edge has a hole in it.

Like another poster mentioned, if you have a 'clear bra' product on the car I bet you'll be thrilled when you have it removed in that the damage to the painted surface will be minimal. Or non-existent.

Try Scratch Wizard. It worked fine on some scratches on my C6. The first delivery didn't quite match the color (tried it out in non noticeable spot) so I sent them a picture showing the difference and they mixed a matching paint for me. Kit comes with everything you need to do the repair.

Most body shops will want to pull the front fascia and paint the whole thing. Try Scratch Wizard for a few bucks and if it doesn't work you still have the body shop option.

Repair, cover or for cheap add some sort of small strip for cheap and make it symmetrical. Color can be your choice, but a titanium which blends into black would look good on just the lower bumper. I would do the small strip on the diagonal.

Have you consider a front license plate?
