Serious question though...Was the GTR stock, cause I haven't seen a 2013 go 10.6 bone stock, def. not at my track in Phoenix. But I haven't googled it either. I'm assuming some mods. A modded Z06 running 11.1 with bolts and DR's ain't so impressive. But no doubt it lost that one! Let's let sam90lx be happy...

I've got a buddy that races one. He runs 9.40@150+ and drives it to the track. He has done 202 in the 1/2 mile.

Not too impressed with the time the Z ran, A few here have ran mid 10s bone stock? was it a stick?

Both cars were not stock:

Luckily drag racing a Corvette is about as sensible as skeet shooting with a glock pistol. There are proper tools for certain jobs.

I first started watching Corvettes being drag raced back in 1957. They were quicker than '57 Bel Air.

Over the years, Corvettes that have been drag raced has outnumbered the number that have been raced on road courses(I don't consider HPDE's as racing, fender to fender) by an untold multiplication factor.

I would venture that the Z06's drag radials offset any advantage that the GT-R's AWD would have normally have had, yet the GT-R won, and they both seem to have equal reaction times. Huge difference in ET and trap speeds.

Dream on, that was not a full bolt on Z. 127 trap/ haha If it was it had the worlds lousiest driver. I had a run in with non stock GTR. He ended up a small spec in the view mirror.
Test drove a GTR and nah I'll take the Z06!

It was my car and I missed second year due to a clutch problem,I ran 10.5,10.6 all day without power shifting .just for the record

My car has a stock tune with rps clutch and just a haltech intake that is it
