Default Pulleys, which one?

Looking for pulley. I heard chirping anything under 12% just a waste
Figured IW only game in town. Then saw there are couple of manufacturers. What , if any are the differences. I also saw where the 18% was pulling timing. Who has done this mod. Recommendations.

Thanks!

my local shop put an 18 percent on my car. could not keep ait2 down even with an aftermarket heat exchanger and a reservoir plus meth. very frustrating. put standard pulley back on. making 673hp. anxious to hear about others peoples experience. car actual runs very cool now

These blowers are pretty much maxed out, besides getting a hero run on a dyno, spinning it harder is not worth the extra heat

Meth is an option along with a pulley swap but at that point your opening a can of worms

That's based on the compressor map for the TVS1740 or gut feeling?

i am not sure. just looked at invoice and one not listed. may be stock. we did longtube headers, meth, cai, looks like new plugs, tank and new heat exchanger. car is loud as hell. seems to be faster, anxious to get to the strip.

I know these blowers are close to maxed out, but I wonder how a 15% pulley would be (Lingenfelter sells one). I know it's not a huge difference, but would be interesting to see.

i agree due to my experience. went back to standard pulley. with all our cooling we are not seeing aits increasing like before. i enjoy the standing mile events and this car should do much better. should not be pulling timing so bad.

I cannot seem to find any post of anyone just doing that alone with dyno, but here is as close as your going to get (as far as I can find).

The Lingenfelter Stage 1 Kit produces 720 HP and 730 lb-ft of torque at the flywheel.

And look below, lol

Unfortunately, I can't get a run in with this Northern weather. The red is with the AFE CAI and blue is with the Halltech...Just purchased the carbon fiber!

Thanks for the dyno. no better comparison anywhere.

Would love just to swap supercharger!!
Depending on head unit 10-15k 80-150 HP

Pulley
Meth
Expansion tank
Thermostat
Tune
Around 2500-3000 installed 65-80 HP

Both require tune and loss of power train warranty.

Edit: add 500 for E85 should help a bit

I put on the IW 9% overdrive pulley with the Halltech CAI and gained 70 rwhp and 70 rwtq peak over stock, and my IAT2 stayed low. I'm at 653 SAE RWHP and 690 SAE RWTQ.

I am curious how others IAT2's are after over driving this blower. After 4 pulls on the dyno my IAT2 was 93f in a 70f environment. We know the fan on a dyno doesn't provide as much cooling as you get when driving at speed.

So the pulley was worth about 20-25, since the Halltech are around 40-50?
