Arctic White Z06
OK so I know I'm about to get flamed by some here but hey it's my car right? I'm about to take delivery of my AR convertible. I like white cars. I thought there was too much black trim on the Z06 so I went with the body color vents. Think '88 anniversary. I would like to have a white spoiler, it's stage 1. Does anyone have any ideas or opinions on weather to paint or wrap the spoiler? For those that have wrapped their AW vettes does the wrap truly match? What brand did you use? Thanks for your thoughts.

You'd need to take it off to do a good wrap job. So given that, with it off, seems like just painting it would be way to go.

Since the rear spoiler comes off fairly easy I would still go with the wrap. JMHO

I have an AW and really like the white and black contrast. If you make your black parts white, post a pic pls.

My vote would be to paint. This is some of the best stuff on the market:

I've used it in the past. Order a can of Artic White, primer, and clear. Scuff the spoiler with a green scotchbrite pad, mask off the rest of the rear portion of the car, and follow application instructions.
The paint is a dead-on match for the factory color.
I agree that a white spoiler looks better than the black. I will be doing the same.
Good Luck!

Diverman,
I applaud your direction here.
I am still bouncing between Shark Gray and Arctic White, but either way I will be ordering painted vents, and plan on color-matching other details, like the spoiler, skirts and possibly the spats.
Your opening line made me laugh, because I expect the same thing when I do this... many negative comments on the mod.
Still, it is what I want to do. I can't ever leave a car stock, and I too feel that the car will look more finished with color matched vents, etc.
I have yet to order my Z06, waiting to sell my 69 Chevy that is taking up the space in the garage (while my SRT8 sits outside).
I really look forward to what you do on this.
Meanwhile, here are some photos of Arctic White cars with painted vents:

I just took delivery of my new Arctic White Z06 today! I went with body color vents as well and it looks amazing. Blue top and blue interior really stands out with the all white look. Enjoy yours when it comes. I can't wait for some sunny roads.

I may be wrong, but you may be able to buy an AW stage 1 spoiler from gm. If not, there are new dorsal all over the forum that sale phase 1 - 3 rear spoiler in Arctic White.
The car will look great in Arctic. White, but I am a little bias. Don't worry about what others think on the trim oolor, it's your money do it the way you like it.
