That will be great info. Thanks for doing this.

I look forward to seeing the results!

Is Z51 package an upgrade and/or different than magnetic ride? I checked my window sticker and there's no reference to Z51 on it. Confused in Illinois.

The Z51 and mag ride are separate stand-alone options for the non-Z06 (mag ride is standard on Z06).

The non-Z51 Stingray has MUCH less dusty pad material to the point that swapping pads to Z26/Z23 would likely be unnecessary. Given you have a Z06, the pads are similarly dusty to the Z51, and the Z26 should help tremendously.

In fact one Z51 owner swapped to the non-Z51 pads and reported the same level of dust reduction as the Z26 (and much less than the 1521). However, the OEM non-Z51 pads are closer in cost to the 1521.

Update on power stop Z26. Have 200 miles on them on our Z06. No squeeking what so ever. And barely any brake dust. Happy Camper!

I think Adam is a bit concerned....oh didn't they mention the entire test was running in circles to the right?

My perspective and I have several thousands of miles on my Z with the Carbotechs. The reduction of brake dust is significant. I typically go out each weekend for a run that is a few hundred miles and can see little to no dust when the run is complete, unless of course I get down real close and look. Very happy with the Carbotechs...

I drive very much like an enthusiast who loves the speed and pickup of his Z.

I'm sure most here like me would absolutely make that choice if there was say a 50% premium to do so? - but when the premium is 400% and there is no clearly defined and objective product benefit (that I am aware of) - its pretty hard to justify that decision.

I agree, what are they mixing gold dust in their pad compound.

I feel your pain! I just put Carbotechs on mine less than a month ago! Now I wish I waited. Ugh.

Let us know how they grab and if you get much brake dust.

They grab with authority for street pads. Very linear feel. Initial bite maybe just a hair softer than the stock pads for the 1st 10 stops or so during the bedding-in process, now a very nice initial bite, equal to stock or slightly stronger. Did a 200 mile drive today in the sierras today, combination of fast sweepers and tight switchbacks with lots of elevation changes. Yes, there is brake dust. Claims that there is no brake dust with the PowerStops are not accurate. However, there is much less dust than with the stock pads, I'd say probably about 70-80% less. Not nearly as noticeable but still could use cleaning if you're as fussy as I am about car cleanliness. Also, the brakes are silent, unlike my stock pads which squealed mildly. I would definitely recommend these pads and I would personally buy these again.
