Not to turn this into a chrome vs black wheel debate.
But i don't remember the last time i saw chrome wheels on a "race car" lol.
It looks good either way, but on THAT car, it'll look better with black wheels.
Because race car.

^^^ Corvettes to me are unique in this respect, even ones with chrome wheels look great. The ZR and Any C7 with chrome still look fantastic imho. I'm in my 40's. (I prefer black chrome). My current Z06 has the rare 10 blade spoke in pearl nickel so is what it is.
OP, great clone. These cars are the most customized in the world. And that's why we all love them. Whether bone stock or highly modded, true enthusiasts enjoy the variety, even when it isn't in their own "taste".
thanks for sharing.

White is the best color on the C7 Z07. I went with black wheels and mirrors because I think on the white car they look better. I will say the black wheels and a pain in the a$$ to keep clean because the dust shows on them more than chrome. Don't let the d!cks on here that say it doesn't look good get to you because it looks great buddy..

Then they had a torch red with black wheels, again i almost went with that but i had a torch red C6 with black wheels and needed something different lol.
Then i saw, already parked right in front of the showroom entrance (i thought it was sold already which is why i didn't inquired about it), a Z that was arctic white with the black wheels, black mirrors, and adrenaline red interior.
IT WAS THE ONE!!! lol
I understand why that particular one was parked right in front lol. It looked damn amazing.
And also someone before i got there went for a test drive too lol. But you get the point

I have a c7r..... you need a Jake decal on hood....different wheels....suede interior....c7r roof....c7r plaque....embossed c7r on seats...carbon fiber steering wheel dash and console....it's just a cosmetic package but it's a lot of stuff different.....otherwise kinda close......)in seriousness I think white is a great color on this car and yours looks good
^^^^ These two posts!!!!
It's just a homage to the race cars. I was just fooling around a bit. I run in the Optima Ultimate Street car events and we have to fly their decals while competing so I was just adding a few for this past weekend's event. I'm sure I will take them off at the end of the season if not sooner or something else strikes my fancy.
So why not just name the thread "My Optima Ultimate Street Car" instead of "fooling around a bit"?

Thanks for the posts guys. I appreciate that we don't all have the same taste. It sure would be boring if we did. I really enjoy my car which means that I drive it. I also have found an entirely new and wonderful family by joining in with the Optima Battery events. I have been enjoying performance cars for over 37 years and have never met a better group of people. Everyday no matter the weather. I see, and hear, about so many trailer/garage queens and just don't get it. They are really missing out on driving/enjoying a truly remarkable car. JMHO

I think it looks good. I like the silver and black accents you added. It's always nice to have something distinctively your own.

I'd say the preference for chrome is more closely tied to demographics than age. Quite a few are 50 or older in my Porsche and Ferrari groups and it's extremely rare to see one on chrome wheels. We also dress completely different and don't bring folding chairs to events, but that's another story...
What exact "demographic" are you lumping me into?
chopped = "Photoshopped"

Crome verses black wheels
But in closing it's to each his own. I like looking at both, but I prefer black.
