Delivery Post of Z06's/Stingray June 18th w/throwback Corvette pics*Mike@Criswell
~This weeks delivery's went to many different States...I'm always asked "How much of my business is out of State?"...Many years ago Chevrolet would say to The Dealer that your "Area of Concern" was a 7 mile radius around your dealership...The Internet has long ago blown up that 7 mile theory...the funny thing is that 30+ years ago the Dealers with the most selection would still get phone calls from all over the Country, only now most inquiries start via email. You can view video's of my customers taking delivery on my CorvetteFurman Facebook page.
~Shane H of Oliver Springs, TN called me up and he had picked out a Race Yellow Stingray. We made the deal over the phone and he and his Father flew in and drove home. Shane's 1st Corvette and it's a beauty!
~Dave B of Cape Coral, FL bought a first week production 15 Z06 Cpe from me and at this years Corvette Bash he started talking about getting a 2016 Z06 Convt Twilight edition. This past week we made the deal and yesterday Plycon trucking picked up his new Arctic White and Twilight Blue interior Z06 Convt. Should arrive within 24-36 hrs!! Dave and I have become good friends over the years thru the Vette Forums.
~Roger G of Catonment, FL Factory ordered a 2016 Z06 Convt 3LZ pkg in Black with Brownstone interior. Roger takes Museum Delivery on the 25th but he did the Buyers Tour and also ordered the Build photo album. This may be one of the last Z06's built with Brownstone interior as that interior option is not available in 2017.
~Joe G of Leesburg, VA called me up this week and he was seeking his First new Corvette! Joe picked out a Shark Gray Stingray with the black badge pkg. I gave him a sight unseen appraisal on his Acura and the deal was done over the phone. His wife stopped by the day before because she wouldn't be able to make it the day he picked it up so I walked her up to the clean up Bay as I was having it prepared for delivery.
~Rich and Joan B of Bel Air, MD Factory ordered their new Long Beach Red Stingray with Kalahari interior and they couldn't have been happier. The pictures are good but the video is even better on my Facebook page CorvetteFurman.
Stan C of Dallas, Oregon took Courtesy delivery of his Factory ordered Z06 and immediately had the Stinger stripe painted on. The first of a few mods for Stan.
~A couple of loaded Z06's were ordered for an Embassy in Wash, DC and this week they were delivered.
~This Arctic White Z06 with the spice Red pkg was picked up by a local businessman.
~Doug H from Mclean, VA Factory ordered this Silver Z06 cpe and tomorrow is the day he drives away...better pics next week.
~More Corvette truckloads coming weekly.
~Willie R of Germantown, MD stopped by to say Hi in his Silver/Red Z51 Convt. that he ordered from me with just about every single option.
~I attended the Corvette Annapolis Show yesterday in downtown Annapolis, MD...100 Corvettes and I ran into 25+ of my Corvette customers there.
~Last Sunday I took The General Jubal A Early Ferry across the Potomac over to Leesburg, VA and a 1931 Ford pulled up behind me. He bought this Ford in 1959 for $95! A Ferry has been at this location since 1817!! Imagine all the Civil War History. (Early settlers recognized that the relatively still waters of the Potomac River at the location would provide an ideal location for a ferry. The first known ferry operation at the location was Conrad's Ferry, pronounced contemporaneously by the locals as "Coonrod's Ferry" [1] in 1817. After the Civil War, former Confederate officer Elijah V. White purchased it and made many improvements to the service. He named his ferry boat in honor of his former commander, General Jubal Anderson Early.)
...and then later in the afternoon I stopped for gas in Purcellville, VA, as I pulled in one entrance a White Stingray pulled in thru the other entrance. This guy named Stan gets out saying "Hi Mike Furman, I follow you on all the Forums and You tube."
~Old pics...
~24 hrs of Lemans...pics from yesterday and today...
~Happy Fathers Day everyone...

Thanks for the pics, Mike. Got me excited again like a kid on Christmas Eve.
Congrats to all the other new owners, too.
My first buy from Mike was when I lived in South Alabama. Now in South Florida, I'm still buying from Mike.
Life just gets better and better.

Congrats to all the new owners.
Mike - that's a famous plate on your car, so any forum guy who pulls in for gas and sees that plate will know who you are.
Happy Father's day to all Dads.

Mike some more great shots of the present and past. A bit heart breaking to see those abandoned and in one case damaged.
Not to be an AK but I think it is pretty cool that so many sales are made over the phone and many over long distances. I guess there is a reason for that.

Not that anyone would or should care but that silver Z sitting anxiously in front of the 18 wheeler is MY favorite. Don't hesitate to post the first sterling blue you get a hold of. Thanks.
