I've been XPEL-ed in Maryland!
I just had my C7/Z06 bumper/nose, headlights, side view mirrors & door indent covered with Xpel Ultimate at All American Paint Protection in Rockville Maryland (301-704-9348). The owner/lead installer Brett Miller has a 2016 Z06 with Xpel, so I had something to look over before deciding to have my car protected. His work is "Outstanding" in my book. I think the protected areas shine better than just the paint. So if your looking to have your car protected (and they do a lot of high end vehicles) give him a call.

You might consider having them do the rear quarter panels and brake vent area. Those are good spots to cover on these cars.
Sounds like they do good work. Nice to have a great installer - makes a huge difference.

Wrong, IMO (unless this is sarcasm, in which case ).
If you think it is a waste of money, then you certainly should not get it. Obviously either rock chips don't bother you (I often wish they didn't bother me) or like like getting your cars repainted?
But I have had it done on my last 5 "nice" vehicles, and redone twice after body damage (paid for by insurance), and I assure that it is not a waste of money for me, and for the thousands of other happy customers. Compared to the cost of the car....it is peanuts.
On my latest Z I drove right from the showroom to the installer to have it done before a single rock chip was obtained.
OP...glad you are pleased with the result.

For Z06 owners, there are some parts of the car that could benefit from protection vs a Stingray. I agree that you can't protect everything with the XPEL wrap, but it does what it is advertised to do.

No. Not being sarcastic. I'm totally serious.
To each his own, but unless you are going to wrap the car completely in expensive plastic, then you are going to have some sort of damage from wear and tear on the car. I have Dr. Chip and wax to cover chips and if I keep the car long enough, I'll have it repainted.
I buy my Corvettes to drive and enjoy, not treat like a Faberge egg.

My 2006 Mustang GT was sold last year with expel from day 1. It had lots of miles, driven far and hard, and looked like new.
Like you said, to each their own. But "waste of money" is not an accurate characterization for those that have used it.

I should of taken some of his blue Z06. The only thing large that was covered was the nose which looks factory, headlights do too as you can see; but the Xpel to my eye looks a little shinier than the paint which is a good thing.
Ah hell, you talked me into taking a couple pics without a cleanup from the long drive home. The car has 9,000+ miles on it now so this is not a garage queen.
PS: He removes the wings, than reinstalls them properly with the correct factory style tape so there is no trimming around the badges. The bumper edge is rolled along the hood area.

I think that most people that get Xpel or any other paint protection on their car do it for the piece of mind more than anything. I know that I won't recoup the money I spent for Expel when I sell the car, but I know the car will look almost new if I do sell it. It is nice to know that bird crap and dead bugs will come right off and I don't have to worry about the paint if I couldn't clean the crap off for a couple of days.
I did the complete front end, doors, door sills, mirrors and rear quarters with Xpel and I am very happy.
